@MnshaP @IndiGo6E @airindia I’m too fed up with @IndiGo6E …their ground staffs at Lucknow are awful, insensitive and Badtameez. They are running a monopoly. I now try to book other airlines, if they are available, to the extant possible. Also, gone are the days when they were on time - their only USP.

@IndiGo6E Also some friends took an @airindia flight around the same time from Lucknow to Delhi, and faced no such mosquito infestation. Clearly @IndiGo6E is doing something wrong here.

Took a Lucknow to Delhi @IndiGo6E flight with a swarm of mosquitoes today. The whole flight was spent scratching, swatting and just praying for the flight to get over. When we asked the crew, the answer was: “door open tha, macchar aa gaye, kuch nahi kar sakte.” The solution they offered was some silly lemongrass patch that did nothing. What’s worse is that this isn’t a one-off! Plenty of complaints on Twitter and even newspaper articles on ‘maccharon ka aatank’, especially on flights taking off from Lucknow airport in the last one month. We paid ₹4,000+ per ticket for this. Not cheap. Not low-cost. Just low-effort. And this brings me to my pet-peeve. Why do services in India suck so much unless you’re paying a hefty premium? Everything that offered decent value — Vistara, BluSmart — shuts down. What survives is mediocrity, poor hygiene, and apathy. Airlines don’t care, airports can’t manage basic pest control, and passengers are just expected to take it quietly. It’s not just bad service, it’s a systemic rot. Shame on @IndiGo6E and @lkoairport and whoever is responsible for airport sanitation. @DGCAIndia

Beware of scams by @makemytrip, just like @oyorooms! I just landed in Gwalior, only to find that the hotel my family booked via MakeMyTrip doesn’t even exist! Locals confirmed it’s a total scam. The contact number on MMT & Google Maps redirected me to OYO customer care, who refused to connect me to the actual property. And now, MMT is denying a refund!
