Not only did Nithya Raman make up a ton of ground on Spencer Pratt today, she beat Karen Bass, 39-34%. She beat Pratt by over 20 points. That is, uh, not good. Pretty hard to see how he advances now, so LA will be choosing between two far-left failures. Good stuff.

Pratt losing and the consequent west side meltdown is the perfect sign of the completely different universes Los Angeles lives in. Pratt supporters were completely convinced he’d get over 50% in the primary. Delusional

No black person would define racism like that. Racism is systemic in nature and pertains to a power dynamic. No one individual in society calling another individual a nasty name. You’re leaving out the aggregate effect of all the individuals doing “racist” things in aggregate. Like redlining….thats racist. A bank denying mortgages due to race, that’s racism. A kid calling another kid the n-word is bigotry but it’s not racist. Same kid as a 40 year old man never promoting anyone of color due to their color, racism.

People were complaining about me saying Pratt has zero chance on November. Like we’re not even fully sure if he’ll even get into the runoffs. You think he can get >50% in November? I like Pratt a lot. I really do but the painful truth is it was never happening.
