i can't believe more people aren't talking about this part of the claude code leak
there's a hidden feature in the source code called KAIROS, and it basically shows you anthropic's endgame
KAIROS is an always-on, *proactive* Claude that does things without you asking it to.
it runs in the background 24/7 while you work (or sleep)
anthropic hasn't turned it on to the public yet, but the code is fully built
here's how it works:
every few seconds, KAIROS gets a heartbeat.
basically a prompt that says "anything worth doing right now?"
it looks at what's happening and makes a call: do something, or stay quiet
if it acts, it can fix errors in your code, respond to messages, update files, run tasks...
basically anything claude code can already do, just without you telling it to
but here's what makes KAIROS different from regular claude code:
it has (at least) 3 exclusive tools that regular claude code doesn't get:
1. push notifications, so it can reach you on your phone or desktop even when you're not in the terminal
2. file delivery, so it can send you things it created without you asking for them
3. pull request subscriptions, so it can watch your github and react to code changes on its own
regular claude code can only talk to you when you talk to it. KAIROS can tap you on the shoulder
and it keeps daily logs of everything.
> what it noticed
> what it decided
> what it did
append-only, meaning it can't erase its own history (you can read everything)
at night it runs something the code literally calls "autoDream."
where it consolidates what it learned during the day and reorganizes its memory while you sleep
and it persists across sessions. close your laptop friday, open it monday, it's been working the whole time
think about what this means in practice:
> you're asleep and your website goes down. KAIROS detects it, restarts the server, and sends you a notification. by the time you see it, it's already back up
> you get a customer complaint email at 2am. KAIROS reads it, sends the reply, and logs what it did. you wake up and it's already resolved
> your stripe subscription page has a typo that's been live for 3 days. KAIROS spots it, fixes it, and logs the change
endless use-cases, it's essentially a co-founder who never sleeps
the codebase has this fully built and gated behind internal feature flags called PROACTIVE and KAIROS
i think this is probably the clearest signal yet for where all ai tools are going.
we are heading into the "post-prompting" era
where the ai just works for you in the background
like an all-knowing teammate who notices and handles everything, before you even think to ask

@GrokOnly312 It's as large as the fp8. There is no reason to use this one

"4-bit" Qwen3.5 27B performs the same as the BF16 model.
When I hide the legend of the chart below, it is impossible to tell which model is which.
All the models in this chart perform the same on these tasks.

Good quantization can be nearly indistinguishable from the original Model: Qwen 3.5 27B, thinking disabled In this chart, I included: - the original BF16 model - 2 different 4-bit AWQ models - a 4-bit AutoRound model - the official FP8 version Can you tell which one is the original BF16 model? (I'll publish the answer later today)

This was fixed on Sunday Sisi Helen. Please also make use of our service delivery app to report burst pipes.

@IfindRetards "By forming a STRAIGHT line" 🤣🤣🤣
All you non-straight bastards need to line up in a STRAIGHT LINE!!!!
Why a straight line - are you discriminating against people who stand wherever the fuck they want?
English

@ukhomeoffice Why you ever STARTED persecuting "crimes of speech" while people were being stabbed and raped is beyond me
English

@NielsRogge @openclaw lol, how many tokens and tool calls did it take?
English

Wtf... Qwen3.5-35B-A3B took 3 minutes (!!) to answer my simple question, "What's on my calendar today?" via @openclaw
I don't know what these local LLM fellas are running on, but a DGX Spark sure is not the best thing

I'm saying anyone can make a bunch of folders that sound legit, where it the proof that they are legit?
The actual source code might have that folder structure but it having the folder structure is not sufficient to prove it's the actual source code, it might be necessary but it's not sufficient

@GrokOnly312 @Fried_rice What do you want, a TXT file of the file tree? Because I'm pretty sure a screenshot does a much better job.

@Gh0styTongue @Fried_rice what part of this screenshot confirms it's legit?

@JacquesBroodryk There are a lot more attacks than that on farms. You're just listing the ones where the victims are white.
English

Farm attacks in South Africa: (22–29 March 2026)
1. 20 March – Fochville, Gauteng
A 73-year-old businessman and five workers were attacked by seven armed suspects. The owner was assaulted and shot at (shots missed), while workers were tied up and locked in a storeroom.
2. 24 March – Fochville, Gauteng
A family was attacked on a farm. The owner and his son were shot, while his wife and daughter were assaulted. The suspects fled with the family’s vehicle, which was later recovered with some stolen items.
3. 25 March – Vaalwater, Limpopo
A man was shot in the arm and leg during an attack. Suspects stole cash and cellphones before fleeing. The victim was hospitalised.
4. 25 March – Plettenberg Bay, Western Cape
An elderly couple (71 and 77) was murdered on their farm in The Crags. It seems the male victim was attacked while sleeping, and his wife was killed while trying to protect him. One suspect has been arrested.
5. 26 March – Kameeldrift East, Gauteng
Male victim was murdered on a smallholding. Signs of a struggle were found, with facial injuries and a gunshot wound. A firearm, brush cutter, and electronic equipment were stolen.
6. 29 March – Marlena AH, North West
Two suspects threatened a victim with a firearm and stole cellphones and electronic equipment. No injuries were reported. @afriforum

In fairness they need to cover the costs of the nurses to take the blood, the sanitized equipment to draw it out, the refrigeration cost between drawing to their depot then to the hospital, some will have gone bad by the time they get it to the hospital (it will fail their QA) and it will be rejected (but they would have incurred all of the costs I just listed even though they won't get any money for it), etc
To suggest that the only cost they incur is that of the cookie is very wrong

Jermaine Prim on @eNCA — the reality:
• This isn’t about one phone call.
Inmates have access to phones — so why the outrage now by @DCS_ZA ?
• Rules are being cited, but selectively.
Yes, formal interview processes exist. But inmates have communicated with media for years — letters, smuggled phones, third parties.
Prim’s communication was already known, even at the Ad Hoc Committee.
Also, the fact that he called from a public prison phone.
The info was already in the public domain.
Media houses have been reporting on it for some time and given the two letters.
So why the sudden shock?
• Timing is everything.
Saying he’ll “die for the truth” on a live platform raises stakes, public pressure, and suggests more could come.
• Damage control is in play.
A “full-scale investigation” is about enforcing procedure — but also containing fallout.
• The hard truth: prisons aren’t sealed.
Communication from inside isn’t new.
The difference this time?
It’s public, it’s loud — and it’s about the allegations being made.
Yes, Prim is a dodgy character…
Don’t shoot the messenger DCS!!
Well done @HeidiGiokos @eNCA
