Breakout Chipotle Nationals for 7'1 2026 🇨🇲 Amadou Seini
The Cameroon native Seini, continues to showcase his immense two-way production in the paint, was an absolute force rebounding, generating 4.5 OREB's over the weekend.
Seini's 7-5 wingspan and defensive positioning allows him to have impactful rim deterrence that many bigs in the class don't
Very raw but has awesome tools and versatility that bodes well into a future HM big, has grown a lot as the season has progressed in his first year stateside.
English

@OutOfTheVines Might be on a plane to South Bend as soon as it warms up (I kid, but if he keeps raking)
English

@MattGlenesk The 3-4 positions are just so much more important now. It's more than just having a big 5. You need multiple 6'6+ guys now on the wing. And its not just having two back to the basket bigs. Its having a 4 like Koa, Boozer, or Yaxel that can create and defend 3-5 as well as shoot
English

@PurdueBballGuy Yup. And be willing to build your team around bigger wings. That 4 position needs to be a bit more of an athlete like Koa, Yaxel, Boozer, etc. The straight up 2 back to the basket bigs, 3 guard lineup doesn't win titles anymore.
English

@Brett_A_Taylor I know he's aging somewhat gracefully, but I'm curious how they navigate Dansby going forward. He's 32 and has 3 years left on his deal after this year. A large portion of his value is in that glove, which could deteriorate as he ages. That cliff could come at any time
English

@JackDunkins01 Brother don't even. Courtney Green is in rare form trying to make sure the spread doesn't hit. Bad over rules, calling TO's when the ball isn't even out of bounds. Purdue and Miami both are getting benefits
English

@CBartleyPurdue THEY SAID QUESTIONABLE. He's on a bike trying to get loose. I'm no expert but they wouldn't have him do that if he had a positive Lachman test right?
English

@CBartleyPurdue Definitely at least hyper extended. But even then there's levels to that. He was walking on it and the limp wasn't super pronounced but I know you can still walk on a torn ACL/MCL, especially with adrenaline running. but that video looked bad
English

@T3Bracketology Every shot last night looked like a half court heave lol. And it goes in more often than not. Wish he had 2 more years lol
English

@olddirty_baroo I'm hoping Carr makes the NFL leap if he can't make it to the NBA as a rim running SF/undersized PF. He'd be so sick as a TE. Just put an extra 15 pounds on him and throw him jump balls 3-5 times a game against 6'1 DB's
English

@SidelineWitness @NYeoman Don't detract from that St. Peters team. They also beat a great Kentucky team with a former NPOY and several NBA players. They also beat a solid Murry St team. FDU was a generationally bad loss. North Texas was a senior heavy team playing a young Purdue team. Upsets happen.
English

For the 7th time in last 9 NCAA tournaments Matt Painter DOES NOT lose in the first round.
Yeah that’s right.
Despite the lazy national narrative that would have you think they do every year…
They actually don’t. #BoilerUp
English

@JaretGold If March Madness is expanded, half the bids need to go to mid majors. I'd rather have the 3-5 best mid majors (that didn't win their conference tourney) in than the next 3-5 high majors (after 3-5 more are given bids).
English

@PurdueApologist Whats the over/under on total points per game between the two of them? 32ish? My optimistic projection is like 33-34.
English

@CJMooreHoops @HoagML Since it’s based on the average - there have been offenses better than this compared to the average. Wisconsin 2015 might be the all time iirc
English

Purdue back in front by a tenth of a point. This is quite the race for all-time most efficient offense.
CJ Moore@CJMooreHoops
Illinois is back to the No. 1 offense at kenpom. Your move, Purdue.
English

@whordano3o @EvanMiya to put that into perspective, Michigan is 11th in total ppg at almost 87. Like I said before Purdue is at 82. Michigan is the 22nd fastest paced team. Purdue is 325th. 5 ppg difference at a massively slower pace.
English

Here is the March Madness efficiency landscape, comparing each team's predicted offensive and defensive efficiency at EvanMiya.com, adjusted for current injuries:

English

@whordano3o @EvanMiya Basically the entire season lol. They score 82 points a game while having one of the slowest tempos in all of college. They're historically efficient lol. To score that much while playing that slow is nuts.
English

@CHR1S0LAVE @elitetakes_ Last time I checked backup TE was not usually one of the top 12 reasons a team wins a super bowl. Rings don't matter at backup positions lol
English

@elitetakes_ Super bowl teams each player has been apart of
“Big” Mo: 0
Hoop: 2
I think we know who the better player is.
English

@PUBoilingPoints @BeneathThePaint Like why not just stagger the starters somewhat in that middle 10 instead of the "all bench hope they don't blow the lead" lineup. Keep at least 2 starters in during those minutes but be as aggressive as possible in your rotation to give everyone a breather
English

@BeneathThePaint I feel like I’m missing something because I have no idea why he keeps doing this despite the eye test and basically every metric saying not to
English

@bmh_tweets @BeneathThePaint Harris most playable of the 3 but has been inconsistent. Benter brings good effort + rebounding but the shooting and defense have been iffy. Jacobsen and Benter at least need to be just about cut out. Harris deserves more than spot minutes, but he shouldn't out play Cox + Mayer
English

@BeneathThePaint 1. At no point in the season has Purdue had a ten man rotation.
2. You lose a ton of credibility lumping in Jacobsen with Harris and Benter. Jacobsen is done for the season, kid has hit the freshman wall
English

@bmh_tweets @BeneathThePaint He does not lose credibility with lumping him in with the others. Harris and Benter (especially Benter) have had a rough go of it the last 7-10 games. They've been inconsistent and inefficient generally. Benter hasn't shot well since B10 season started
