🚨 Let me explain what Donald Trump just did with the $1.5 trillion defense budget because the people screaming about it have absolutely no idea what they're looking at.. the US dollar is the world reserve currency.. every trade deal, every foreign investment, every country parking trillions in American assets.. all of it happens for ONE reason.. military dominance.. countries don't invest in America out of kindness.. they do it because nobody on earth can challenge the US military.. weaken the military = weaken the dollar = weaken the economy = weaken YOUR paycheck.. this $1.5 trillion isn't "spending".. it's the FOUNDATION that makes everything else possible.. here's what the budget actually funds and nobody is talking about it.. > $445 billion increase over the 2026 baseline — massive modernization > $350 billion for critical munitions and defense industrial base expansion — that's AMERICAN manufacturing jobs.. factories opening.. workers hired.. paychecks flowing into communities > military pay raise for the actual troops on the ground — not Pentagon bureaucrats.. the soldiers > $1.47 billion for border territorial integrity — sensors, surveillance, reconnaissance along the southern border > advanced AI and military technology investments keeping America a GENERATION ahead of China > $40.8 billion to DOJ — a 13% increase — crushing cartels, stopping migrant crime, hunting down fraud > $30 million for a National Fraud Division dedicated to catching government waste > $1.7 billion to secure US prisons and rebuild Alcatraz as a state-of-the-art facility > $2.2 billion for ICE — 41,500 immigration detention beds expandable to 100,000 with combined funding > $322 million for counter-drug technology fighting fentanyl > $243 million for Air and Marine Operations — border security from the sky > $136 million for ACE technology managing tariff payments — delivered a YEAR ahead of schedule > $605 million for National Guard in DC making the capital safe and beautiful > $216 million for a National Guard Reaction Force — rapid response capability > TSA privatization — cutting bloated government, saving taxpayer money and the "cuts" everyone is crying about.. $73 billion in nondefense cuts = eliminating woke, weaponized, and wasteful programs.. returning state and local responsibilities to their actual governments.. that's not destruction.. that's how the country was DESIGNED to work.. > Social Security.. PROTECTED > Medicare.. PROTECTED > Veterans.. PROTECTED > Seniors.. PROTECTED > Law enforcement.. PROTECTED $510 million from farm grants.. that's 0.034% of the defense budget.. states can and should handle local agricultural grants.. $82 million from rural small businesses.. that's nothing at the federal level.. states fund these programs better anyway.. the scoreboard.. > China military budget: $250 billion officially.. real number closer to $500 billion+ > Russia military budget: roughly $100 billion to $130 billion > America at $1.5 trillion: UNTOUCHABLE America just destroyed Iran's ENTIRE nuclear program in 35 days.. killed their supreme leader.. sunk 120+ of their boats.. the ONLY reason that was possible is the military strength this budget funds.. every country watching that is thinking "don't mess with America".. that fear isn't cruelty.. it's leverage.. more investment.. more trade deals.. more allies.. more power flowing into the US.. 20+ countries signed trade deals AFTER watching that.. not because America asked nicely.. because $1.5 trillion says you don't say no to the world's superpower.. the critics want the STRONGEST military AND every bloated federal program fully funded.. that's how you got $36 trillion in debt.. Trump is making the hard choices that weak presidents ducked for decades.. the people making the rules about what's "wasteful" have never had to think about why their currency is worth anything..

Reports—though unconfirmed—suggest that Qatar has declined to continue its mediation efforts in the ongoing conflict between the United States and Iran. If these reports prove accurate, then, in my view, it is a sound decision. I do not believe this step is driven by the recent Iranian actions against the state; Qatar has consistently risen above such provocations, prioritizing regional stability and upholding its constitutionally established role as a mediator and advocate of peace. In my assessment, one of the primary reasons lies in the lack of a unified decision-making structure within Iran itself—a characteristic that predates the current conflict. While the foreign minister may be convinced of a particular course of action and succeed in persuading the president, other actors—both formal and informal—retain effective veto power, most notably the Supreme Leader. As a result, decisions are reached with great difficulty, only to enter a phase of reinterpretation that can ultimately strip them of their substance. This “carpet-weaver” approach to managing intricate details is ill-suited to the fast-moving realities of modern politics. It risks becoming an exercise in overcomplication—wasting time and effort without producing decisive outcomes. If this dynamic exists in times of relative calm, it becomes far more problematic in wartime, especially with new actors entering the scene and the internal Iranian landscape becoming increasingly opaque, as competing forces blur any coherent structure of decision-making. Another key factor relates to the Gulf states’ experience with the other side of the conflict—the United States and Israel. Qatar, acting as a neutral mediator, previously conveyed the terms of a Gaza ceasefire to the Palestinian side. Yet the very location where these discussions were to take place was subsequently targeted, undermining trust and weakening the credibility of mediation efforts. Similarly, Oman invested considerable diplomatic capital in attempting to avert this war. Its foreign minister publicly expressed strong optimism about the success of mediation, suggesting he had received credible assurances. However, while he was in Washington to finalize these efforts, hostilities broke out. He later conveyed clear frustration, implying that the course of events had severely undermined the diplomatic track. Under such conditions—where decision-makers themselves may be targeted and trust is fundamentally eroded—meaningful mediation becomes exceedingly difficult. The environment simply does not support sustainable negotiation. Accordingly, the prospects for any mediator succeeding under these circumstances appear extremely limited. Efforts risk becoming a drain on time and resources without tangible results. Neither side is genuinely seeking common ground; instead, both are betting on outcomes on the battlefield. Military advantage is seen as the primary negotiating leverage—whether through American success in achieving its objectives or Iran’s ability to preserve its regime. Ultimately, the greatest loser in this conflict is, first and foremost, the Iranian people, followed by the broader populations and states of the region that bear the consequences of this ongoing struggle.

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Trump says he "can't comment" on what happens if the missing American pilot is harmed When asked directly by The Independent what the U.S. would do if Iranian forces capture or harm the downed F-15E crew member, the President replied: "We hope that's not going to happen," and ended the call. The restraint is notable. In past crises involving American captives, presidents have drawn explicit red lines. The decision not to draw one here could signal back-channel communications are active and Washington doesn't want to escalate while rescue operations are underway. It could also reflect the impossible complexity of the situation: the pilot is on the ground inside a country being bombed by the very forces trying to save them. Iran is offering rewards for the pilot's capture. A provincial governor promised commendations. State television is broadcasting appeals to civilians. Every hour without recovery raises the stakes. This is the moment that defines wars. Source: The Independent
