The marches (so-called 'hate marches') are marches that are protests directed at a specific country in a specific place. If people call them 'hate marches' they're conflating the protests about that specific place with an alleged hate of a whole people or identified group.

Why would there be a shortage of Potatoes, Milk or Chickens if the Iran war continues? We have enough of these in our own country. That’s why we have farmers.

Don’t stay silent. ‘British Jews, he said, were on the “hate” list of every racist and extremist group “whether you’re extreme left, whether you’re Islamist terrorist, whether you’re right-wing terrorist, and some hostile states as well now with some sort of Iranian-related threats. There’s a sort of ghastly Venn diagram that they’re at the middle of.”’ thetimes.com/uk/crime/artic…

"Oh, I don't eat any sugar. Maybe a biscuit on the weekend." A day in his life: - Breakfast. Wholemeal toast. The packet had a leaf on it. 30g of sugar, give or take. Starch is glucose molecules holding hands. - A banana on the side, because fruit. 17g of sugar. Mostly the liver-bothering kind. - Mid-morning flapjack. Oats and honey. Wholesome. 30g of sugar. - Lunch. Sandwich on seeded bread. Seeds are healthy. 30g of sugar. - Low-fat hummus with carrot sticks. Chickpeas are starch. Carrots are sugar in a wig. 20g. - Dinner. Pasta with a tomato sauce, light on the cheese. 60g of sugar, in the blood within ninety minutes. - A square of dark chocolate after, because dark chocolate is fine. 6g of sugar. Total for the day: 200 grams of sugar.

Palestinians terrorists strangled this little angel to death their bare hands. Along with his mother and 4 year old brother. They then mutilated the bodies with rocks. After that they paraded their coffins in the streets- thousands of Palestinians cheered in Jubilation (see thread) They also burned their grandparents alive in their own home and shot the family dog to death. We must never forget.

The main problem for the Palestinians is they want to murder Jews and Jews really don’t like being murdered. One of those two attitudes has to change for there to be peace.

I have no interest in Palestine when I cast my vote—but I do care about Portsmouth. No interest in Gaza—but I do for Gloucester. No interest in the West Bank—but I do for Wolverhampton. My vote is for home, for our towns, for our future. 🇬🇧

Using the word 'genocide' to describe a war against an enemy who hide beneath their own people is pure antisemitism. Hasan is another enemy within.

I’m sick to death of the right wing press to be honest. I suspect that Keir didn’t even know he had a niece and this wouldn’t have crossed his desk. Why is he getting the blame for selections that he has absolutely no involvement with whatsoever? 🤷🏼‍♂️
The Telegraph@Telegraph

🗳️ Sir Keir Starmer’s niece is standing in the local elections in Croydon, one of the safest wards in London. Some disgruntled local Labour activists claim she has been “parachuted into a safe Labour seat” telegraph.co.uk/politics/2026/…

I’ve already spent a ridiculous amount on dresses for weddings this summer. Don’t get me wrong I LOVE a wedding but it does feel slightly unfair when I’ve already decided if I get married mine will be a registry office situation with zero fanfare…..

@SamaHoole I don't eat much veg this is a cause of concern....I point out eyes are in the front of my head - predator - like hawks. This means I can use a mobile phone . Sheep cannot . Their eyes are on the sides of their heads , like deer - so predators can be seen ...I do not like veg ..

You soak your beans overnight to reduce phytic acid. You sprout your grains to neutralise the antinutrients. You boil your spinach to break down oxalates. You ferment your legumes to make them digestible. You roast your nuts to deactivate enzyme inhibitors. You pressure cook your lectins. You peel, you blanch, you discard the cooking water. Hours of preparation. Multiple appliances. A pantry full of techniques refined over millennia by humans desperately trying to make plants less hostile to the people eating them. All this effort. All this ceremony. To render the food slightly less determined to harm you. Or you could feed the plants to a cow. Let its four-chambered fermentation system handle the entire operation across 24 to 48 hours of specialised bacterial digestion. Then eat the cow. Zero phytic acid. Zero oxalates. Zero lectins. Zero antinutrients of any kind. Just complete bioavailable protein, every essential amino acid, B12, iron, zinc, creatine, and the fat-soluble vitamins, all packaged in a form your body recognises without a 12-step preparation manual. The cow already did the soaking, sprouting, boiling, and fermenting. It's called ruminant digestion. You're eating the finished product. Beef is the ultimate plant-based food. All the nutrition the plant pulled from the soil, none of the chemistry the plant deployed to stop you eating it. The carnivore isn't avoiding plants. He's outsourcing the detoxification to an animal evolved over 50 million years to handle it. And then he's sitting down to dinner like a civilised person, instead of standing over a stockpot at 11pm wondering why his kale still tastes like punishment.
