@EsotericRambles @nonregemesse Thats because GRRM is a fantasy author, not a Historian. Unorganized light cavalry that doesn’t believe in armor would get decimated by any organized European style armor, especially ones of the 15th-16th century which Westeros is based on. They don’t even use lances.

@EsotericRambles @nonregemesse Well the free cities have no militaries. They all just hire mercenary companies when they need to go to war. Way different than a ton of individual lords who all have knights and men at arms on retainer. Dothraki would get folded in their first battle in Westeros

I'm assuming you're engaging in Mini 14 slander. Most people's issue is a perceived lack of accuracy, because they're trying to make the Mini something that it never was meant to be: a target rifle. If you stop trying to brute force fight it's shortcomings and instead lean into it's strengths, you'll have a much better time. A Samson folding stock (or even the factory stock) and a compact red dot on the Samson rail, and maybe a flashlight, and you've got a lightning quick, light weight, and very handy package. Chop the barrel and install a three prong, and the Mini absolutely SHREDS in close quarters.

His only claim to fame is beating the Ironborn fleet, which is way different than leading an army on land. Other than that he held Storms End against the Tyrells, who never even attempted to take it. Stannis is highly overrated

@eleftherus @Eldi916 False, you still have great maneuverability in full plate. You can sprint, jump, climb, even do somersaults just fine. Full plate started to fall off in the later periods as firearms became more common. Full plate makes you practically invulnerable to anything short of a firearm

@Eldi916 Some people are under the impression that full plate is like power armor. Some of it from the 16th/17th centuries actually was absurdly hard, but even then the trend was to wear less of it for mobility's sake.

QC is overblown, PSA sells probably 20x the volume of BCM, of course you’ll hear of more problems when theres a massive difference in sample size. You can literally buy PSAs with FN barrels, G$ rails and gas systems, Microbest and Radian internals
