In order to MASTER the new X algo in 2026: You need to understand... What matters now: → Replies are worth 150x more than likes → Bookmarks are worth 10x more than likes → The first 60 minutes decide if your post lives or dies What to do: → Reply to every comment in hour one → Post 2-5 quality posts per day (spam gets penalized) → Engage 10-15 min before posting to warm the algorithm → Never put links in your post (drop them in replies) What to stop doing: → Jumping between topics (the algo needs you in one lane) → Ignoring old posts (it reads your history, delete the bad ones) → Chasing likes (the algorithm barely counts them anymore) The strategy in 2026: make people stop, reply, and save. (BOOKMARK THIS)

Free marketing hack: Reply to every viral post in your niche. Add something useful. Do not pitch anything. Do this 10 times a day. Your profile does the selling for you.

@Layton_Gott That’s something very common… it’s easy to jump from one thing to another, especially in today’s world that goes so fast. I think a major factor is being actually passionate in what you build… that’s the thing that make you stick to something, more than self discipline

You have been coding for months… Where is your finished project? Not your half built app. Not that repo you abandoned. Not another idea. Something real. Shipped. Because at some point more ideas stop being helpful if you do not have the self control to finish what you already started.

Be honest: What’s ONE thing you still don’t trust AI to do in your dev workflow?

@Layton_Gott I still dont fully trust it for debugging tricky issues like when something works locally but breaks in production you really need to understand the code yourself

@Layton_Gott actually had a good talk with someone today but if i’m ever working on a clients existing code base i would not trust AI or review it way more heavily on almost everything except like test and some trivial frontend stuff
