i have spent the last few weeks heads-down building with @OasisProtocol sapphire because i am tired of the trade-offs we make for convenience
we have spent an entire decade treating our private conversations as a fair trade for free apps
accepting that our messages sit unencrypted on corporate servers
we choose the easy path, and we lost our privacy in the process
i am building lithos to take that back
by moving the logic to oasis sapphire, i have shifted the trust from corporate promises to mathematical certainties
using trusted execution environments and eip-712, i have managed to strip away the usual web3 friction
> no gas fees
it is just a clean, human experience that happens to be cryptographically secure
privacy shouldn't be a premium feature
or a complex hurdle that only technical people can jump over
it should be the default
this is about building a version of the internet where you actually own your words again, and this is just the beginning
the best part is that you don't have to take my word for it
because the logic is onchain, every interaction is completely verifiable
how much of your personal data are you still willing to trade for convenience ?
