There’s something awfully off when images and videos of a woman who is clearly upset are being used to undermine her. And we’re being asked to look, watch, repost, discuss….. AKA: harm, hurt, make worse. It’s misogynistic bullying and harassment. Choose 💕 and empathy.

18 months ago, as a patient on a psychiatric ward having attempted to take my own life- this day felt impossible. Yet today I graduated from @QUBelfast, with the highest average mark in @HAPPatQUB, achieving a 1st in Anthropology & Philosophy & receiving the Joint Honours Prize.

Gordon Brown is right. This bill imposes an obligation on every terminally ill patient to consider the option of Assisted Suicide - a 'right' with a system to deliver it. The alternative, palliative care, is underfunded, bureaucratic, and in places non-existent. So much for 'choice at the end of life'. theguardian.com/commentisfree/…
