@FOX9 When you zipper merge at the last second you have to slow down to merge causing the other lane to slow, just merge when you can while maintaining your speed

According to MnDot, when a driver sees a “lane closed ahead" sign with traffic backing up, they should stay in their current lane up to the point of merge, then take turns with other drivers to safely and smoothly ease into the remaining lane. fox9.com/news/zipper-me…

@FOX9 Disagree. The proper thing to do is move over as soon as you see the lane closure sign. Not race to cut in at the front of the line. You wouldn't cut in the grocery line don't cut on the road.

@FOX9 It should be the law, people who block the lane should receive a citation at the very least. All of Europe drivers understand this rule, but in SD, &,MN driver's believe everyone must wait in line. Crazy!

Today I learned that some people rent cars, swap the engine from their similar beater, and return the car. The rental agency is none the wiser until they go to sell the car, if ever.
