Wow, this really hit me.
I’m visiting home and my mom has this 2023 calendar still hanging in her pantry. She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and had her first surgery on December 14. Her life basically paused for over 2 years as she dealt with complications, metastasis, more surgeries, radiation, depression, side effects….
Last month she was cleared as cancer free! I’m going to buy her a new calendar.

Is this what you thought Yellowstone Park was like? Unmoving traffic jams lasting 1-3 hours; rivaling that of suburban areas in big cities. Nowhere to park. Insane prices. Tourists harassing animals, littering, picking flowers, influencers everywhere, sticking their hands in basins and ruining them, no good camping spots left because people use AI programs to snatch up the good ones within milliseconds of the site opening up, and most of your day spent behind Asian tourist busses.
The overwhelming amount of tourists have made the park experience unbearable. You used to be able to go there and explore nature peacefully. Now it's worse than Disneyland.

Best tips on maximizing sleep with a newborn?
I’m thinking of getting a mattress pad and just laying in her room since she loves her crib.
That way I have a shorter distance to respond.
Anyone have anything else that might help?

I read a study a while back that said the majority of women are worse off and less happy post-divorce than they were pre-divorce.
Divorce is very bad for women. It is terrible for children. And it is not good for men either.
But that was the choice instead of working things out.
