Patterns should not be used in isolation. Success rates improve when combining patterns with other tools like volume, moving averages like SMA. When Bitcoin's price is above a rising SMA (e.g., 50-day), bullish patterns are more likely to succeed. Conversely, falling below major SMAs (e.g., 100-week) often signals a significant correction (up to 50% historically).

Hope or hopium? On average, Bitcoin peaks at around the same time the ISM PMI reaches its peaks. It was 56+ in 2013, and it was over 60 in the 2017 and 2021 peaks. Right now it is 52.6, which is still far off the average peak. History also shows us that we need a sustained reading above 50 (Expansion) for the PMI before BTC goes up, and that takes somewhere between 11 to 16 months. So, if this manufacturing expansion continues, then BTC should reach its peak by the end of the year or by 2027. But will manufacturing continue to expand? It's possible if the AI and space race continues. Remember, behind the codes are real-world infrastructures which need a lot of manufacturing input. But with all the geological uncertainties and 4D chess going on, who knows?
