@taco_talks for 1500 years, Christians were committing heresy and or wasn’t until Martin Luther came along that they started doing it right. Martin Luther is their savior.
@taco_talks My favorite part of these videos are that 1. They always a Protestant playing the role and show the Protestant argument v the argument they imagine Catholics will make. 2. They claim Catholics are heretical (“Jesus’ sacrifice is not enough) but in doing so they are claiming…
@catholicbob@CSavedByGrace18 It’s actually insane how little these people know. Thank God for the Catholic Church and their teaching of history and language to understand the Bible in full.
Did you know the Catholic Church started the phrase Good Friday? Then the evangelical churches followed along with it without question.
Jesus died and rose on 3 days and nights not 24 hours.
@CSavedByGrace18 This is why you need history and language in theology. It’s also why you know nothing of Jesus. Look up “inclusive reckoning.” In Jewish tradition any part of the day counted as a full day.
@DivineJoker99@CieloBonit “Then Jesus said unto them, “Verily, verily I say unto you, unless ye eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, ye have no life in you.”
You called our Lord satanic. Repent.
@watchingdaisies@JondTrill@CieloBonit Notice how he assumes I don’t own a Bible lol. They are so propagandized against Catholicism they don’t even realize they know nothing about it. It’s sooooo weird
@JondTrill@PhactCheckrr@CieloBonit Most who "just read it" do not understand so much of it. Studying the original meaning of words, traditions of the times ect... is how to get the most understanding out of it. Every pastor in protestant churches I ever went to had their own interpretation. No thanks.
@JondTrill@CieloBonit It’s such a weird assumption that I don’t own a bible lol. I received one for every sacrament. I read my bible every night. I finished Luke last night. And I’ve read it cover to cover, thank you. It’s one of my greatest achievements and also solidified my standing as a Catholic.
@PhactCheckrr@CieloBonit Reading the Bible vs reading and listening to the Church’s interpretation are two totally different things, I invite you to go buy your own Bible and read it cover to cover, your eyes will be opened it happens every time
@watchingdaisies@CieloBonit learn a lot about the Bible there bc it’s more fun and child centered but that’s really the things about Protestantism- is like the kiddie table of theology.
@watchingdaisies@CieloBonit I am blessed to have gone to such a good Catholic school but I can understand why many have not had the same experience. Catholicism is solemn, it doesn’t necessarily appeal to a child’s mind. My sister puts her kids in a Presbyterian Bible camp every summer and they…
@PhactCheckrr@CieloBonit You believe in demons? 🫵😂. Demons are a convenient device used to dehumanize someone and it believed by the most weak-minded amongst us. Prove to me a fuckin' demon made him say it and why your god would allow this?
@PhactCheckrr@twilleym@CieloBonit You understand the beacon of Christianity posted the word "fuckin" on his Easter address to Iran so now it is acceptable. I will use it until all fuckin' Xtians denounce him.
@PhactCheckrr@twilleym@CieloBonit Brainwashed? By whom? I was born under the indoctrination of Christianity in the form or Catholicism and I had to overcome that brainwashing. I am a much better person now that I put humanity over mythology
@ProlifeLowlife@twilleym@CieloBonit It’s such a weird lie to tell bc our Masses are just the Bible and the Eucharist. They have rock bands and smoke machines and pastors in jean
shorts lol
@PhactCheckrr@twilleym@CieloBonit Exactly, this idea that Catholics don’t read the bible is crazy 😅 Also, the most popular bible reading podcast on the planet is Catholic (Bible in a Year)🤔 🤷🏻♂️
@ProlifeLowlife@twilleym@CieloBonit If they went to Catholic school for 8 years and daily Mass everyday, they heard almost the entire Bible three times.
@twilleym@PhactCheckrr@CieloBonit Every mass has bible readings 🤔 so if you paid attention in those masses then you have likely “read” most of the NT gospels 😅
