The thing about my situation is that it could happen to anyone in the UK. One day you’re living a normal life, you commit no crimes, hurt nobody, a productive member of society. The next youre dragged out of bed at 7am, falsely accused of a crime, your property seized without justification, police fabricate evidence to justify everything. All of your complaints are ignored, you get accused of abusing the complaints process. Every single attempt to escalate via the complaints process including the IOPC is quite literally ignored. Then youre treated like a criminal, despite having a lawful justification for everything, your reputation is ruined, neighbours think youre a criminal, held in a cell for 8 hours, and nobody can even tell you what crime they suspect you’ve committed. It genuinely feels like i’m stuck in an episode of Black Mirror.
