@JimHendley4NC @US_OGA They already do, but supposedly that pipeline is at near capacity. There is a 2nd east pipeline in the works, also from Texas. Won't be completed for a few years though.

Hello Senator. This has already been pointed out but allow us to reemphasize that: 33% of Arizona’s gasoline — including the entire Phoenix refined products market — comes from California refineries via pipeline. With CA Democrat energy policy forcing the closure of major facilities, this dependency will mean higher prices & tighter supply ahead. Arizona has ZERO refineries of its own. With your military background - you of all people recognize that recent events have shown how unwise it is to allow an economy to be at risk of foreign choke points half way across the world. AZ is no different. We recommend AZ decouple itself from CA energy policy as soon as possible. Thank you for sharing your views. We will certainly keep them in mind.
Senator Mark Kelly@SenMarkKelly

This is from a gas station in Phoenix yesterday: $6.49 for a gallon of gas. All because Trump started war with no plan and no idea how it would affect everyday Americans. I'm fighting to suspend the federal gas tax to bring families some relief, but what they really need is a president focused on lowering their costs.

@BasedMikeHaller @US_OGA AZ is in the process of building a second east pipeline from Texas (cheaper than CA's fuel) but it won't be ready for a few years. AZ politicians should have had this in place already. Depending on loony CA for fuel is not good leadership.

@maximumpain333 @grok FWIW, according to perplexity ai, this is misleading. It says that recent studies show artificial sweeteners can trigger a small and very short-lived insulin bump in some people but is modest and not equivalent to the surge you get from real sugar. The brain knows the difference.

The biggest marketing scam of all time is Coca-Cola convincing the world that Coke Zero has zero consequences. The beverage industry spent twenty years watching the world wake up to the link between sugar and disease. Sales dropped. Lawsuits piled up. The science became undeniable. So they didn’t remove the addiction. They repackaged it. They replaced sugar with synthetic sweeteners and printed “Zero” on the can. They told you it was a free pass. All the taste. None of the consequences. But here’s the thing: There’s no free pass in biology. Here’s what actually happens inside your body when you drink a Coke Zero. The synthetic sweetness hits your tongue. Your brain can’t tell the difference between real sugar and fake sugar at the receptor level. So it does what it’s been doing for 200,000 years. It signals your pancreas to release insulin, preparing for a flood of glucose. But the glucose never arrives. Now you have insulin circulating with nothing to do. Your blood sugar drops. Your body shifts into fat-storage mode. And your brain, still waiting for the calories it was promised, fires a hunger signal that sends you straight to the fridge. You didn’t avoid the problem. You created two new ones. A body storing fat and a brain demanding food. From a drink with “zero calories.” In 2023, the World Health Organization confirmed it. Long-term consumption of non-sugar sweeteners does not lead to weight loss. In fact, it is correlated with an increased risk of type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and early mortality. The “zero” on the can was never a health claim. It was a marketing angle. But the real damage goes deeper than weight. Your body was designed with a feedback loop. Taste something sweet, receive energy, register satisfaction, stop eating. Artificial sweeteners break that loop. They teach your body that sweetness means nothing. Over time, your brain stops trusting its own signals. You lose the ability to gauge what you actually need. We thought we were doing the right thing. Instead we got a metabolic lobotomy. ~ Andre Gonzales ✨🙌🏽💫

Before you are quick to judge....I live in Georgia, not all that far away from Social Circle. It is my understanding that the area is predominantly MAGA folks, and it is out in the middle of "nowhere." It is a quaint, pretty place. I believe the citizens of the area are very concerned that they will become the dumping ground for illegals, and that this will drive property value down, and will also cause safety issues. That building is a massive eye sore, and this is compounded by the fact that much to the displeasure of many, the Rivian plant is going in nearby, thus disrupting the farmland, etc.... I doubt many of these folks are anti-ICE or DHS, but rather, they look around them at other parts of Georgia where illegals have been dumped and see the skyrocketing crime and don't want that for their community.

Men who hide behind fake accounts dishonour their bloodline and their ancestors. Be a man. Say what you think. Stand by your views. Anonymous voices change nothing. No one cares what an anon says or thinks. If you hide, you are irrelevant. Your contribution to the world is zero. The people of WA state have expressed OVER AND OVER that they do not want an income taxe but what do Democrats do? They endlessly push against 100 years of WA constituional law. Subverting the system with this one by falselessly claiming it's an "emergency" when they've tripled spending in the last 15 years and it won't even go into effect for several more. Democrats are evil and they breed and foster decay in everything they can profit from. There's no worry for anyone but themselves, what can today bring ME? Is all they ask, all they question, it's in all they do and all they "give". Decay for their own greed is what they bring to the table every fucking time. Nothing EVER get's better when you go along with their bullshit.

🚨BREAKING: Washington State passes their first ever income tax. Incomes over $1M/year will be taxed at 9.9%. Married couples share A SINGLE $1M exemption, so if combined incomes are more than $1M, you're getting taxed. This will obviously eventually extend beyond millionaires. What comes for others, will eventually come for you! RIP Washington state!

They want you to be ashamed of the American Dream Your grandpa showed up with a suitcase and $40. Didn't speak the language. Didn't know anyone. Washed dishes until he could afford something better. Saved enough to buy a truck. Started a business. Then bought the building. Your grandma watched it happen. And she raised four kids to believe they could do it too. That's the American Dream. It never mattered if you were born here or came on a boat. What mattered was what you were willing to build. A kid grows up on a cattle farm in the middle of nowhere Nebraska. His dad never finished high school. His mom works the register at the only store in town. Nobody in his family has ever left the state. He tinkers with engines after school. Builds things out of scrap. Shows up to college with everything he owns in the back of a pickup truck. Ten years later he's running a manufacturing company. Not because his parents had connections. Not because someone handed him a trust fund or a last name that opened doors. Because this is America. And in America, you're allowed to try. You're allowed to dream. And the numbers prove it. ~23 million millionaires in this country. 79% of them are self-made. 902 billionaires. More than anywhere else on the planet. 13 out of the 15 richest people in the world are American. 73% self-made. They didn't inherit empires. They built them. In garages. In dorm rooms. In strip malls. On kitchen tables. Jeff Bezos never knew his biological father. He started Amazon out of a garage and couldn't afford a desk so he bought a door from Home Depot and screwed four legs onto it. Larry Ellison was abandoned by his mother at nine months old. His adoptive father told him he'd never amount to anything. He dropped out of college twice and built Oracle into a $200 billion empire. Oprah was born into poverty in rural Mississippi to a single teenage mother. She became the most influential media figure on the planet. Three people who had every reason to fail. Look what they built instead. Tell me where else a broke kid with no connections can build a billion-dollar company and nobody asks who his father was. You won't find it. Because every other system on this planet was built to keep people where they were born. Castes. Classes. Last names. Bloodlines. Old money. Old power. America was built to break all of it. An entire generation has been brainwashed into being ashamed of it. They taught your kids that this country was built on nothing but slavery and genocide. They put it in the textbooks. The movies. Every feed. Until your 19-year-old can't say "I love my country" without feeling like he has to apologize. They told you the American Dream was a lie sold to keep people down. 53 million people born in other countries chose to live here. 71% of them say they'd do it all over again. They didn't pick France. They didn't pick Germany. They didn't pick China. They picked here. Because they already know what you've been gaslit into forgetting. Don't let them do this to you. Don't let some professor who's never built anything tell your kids that the country their great-grandparents bled for is irredeemable. Don't let some activist with a blue check convince you that a nation of 22.7 million self-made millionaires is a monument to oppression. Don't let a politician shame you into believing that the people who build are the villains. Every time this country creates greatness, they tell us to apologize for it. And don't you dare let a foreigner who's never set foot here tell you what your country is. They've never watched a janitor's daughter become a surgeon. They've never seen a single mom put herself through night school and end up running the department. They've never sat at a Thanksgiving table where five different accents argue about football and nobody thinks twice. That's not some ad, it's a Thursday. Somewhere right now a kid is lying on the floor of a studio apartment doing homework while his mom works a double. He doesn't have a trust fund. He doesn't have a single connection that matters. But he's got a shot. A real one. Because he lives here. And if you let them take that from him, what are you even defending? This is the country that looked at the moon and said "we choose to go, not because it is easy, but because it is hard." So build. I hope you understand what's at stake.

Much more concerned with people thinking they can dictate what others do or don't wear. What business is it of yours if someone chooses to wear a mask? Maybe, like East Asians, they are polite and conscientious and don't want to spread germs to others. Maybe they are undergoing chemo, have had a transplant, or otherwise have a weakened immune system. For a crowd that likes to self-righteously fume "Don't tread on me", MAGA's/Republicans/conservatives sure have a lot of things they want to demand people do or don't do. You and your ilk should MYOFB.

Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS) offers extensive potential. VNS impacts appetite, mood, and intestinal inflammation. Imagine subsidized VNS devices for all. On-demand appetite control, instant meditation, and stress relief become accessible. Consider the possibilities: insomnia and relationship stress mitigated. VNS is already in use worldwide. Let's advocate for government-supported optimization. VNS can facilitate ambitious goals.
