IMPORTANT: 3 weeks ago, on Neta Nagri in @TheLallantop , we had predicted that Raghav Chadha @raghav_chadha was on his way to BJP ahead of Punjab polls. The expectation was it would take a few months but process has clearly now been fast forwarded. The surprise is Sandeep Pathak, another close aide of @ArvindKejriwal . For 10 years, BJP tried to break AAP in Delhi but didn’t succeed; now it’s managed to do so in Rajya Sabha! Will be interesting to see how BJP now ‘rewards’ Chadha and co. 🙏(note: Ashok Mittal who is part of ‘rebels’ joining BJP had been raided by ED just a few days ago!)

What is the difference between the first set of people who left AAP, and the latest set of seven people who have left AAP to join the BJP? The first set of people left when Kejriwal compromised the principles on which the party was set up. The second set led by Raghav Chaddha enjoyed all the perks of power, including being nominated to the Rajya Sabha. They have joined the BJP with pure opportunism bereft of any principles

The political assessment that AAP Rajya Sabha MPs merger in BJP is to bump up prospects in Punjab may not be sound. Punjab is a Vidhan Sabha election. I feel this could be counter productive for BJP. Kejriwal’s AAP has already started the ‘betrayal’ narrative.

Now RSS should merge AAP School to BJP Party. School Principal Kejriwal should play another role in RSS.
