@contliving I have seen that you are an avid supporter of SIPs which is true for most people. However in macroeconomic scenario like we have do you think people should preserve cash or still continue SIPs?

SIP in the early years, in fact, first 3 to 5 years, can have lower returns. The longer your SIP, the better it is for you. The likelihood of generating higher returns and creating wealth keeps going up. I have continued SIPPing in the Indian markets and have been fairly rewarded. My XIRR is more than 18%. I am investing in the markets for more than 10 years. All via SIPs mostly.

Indian markets have been through such phases in the past and this will repeat in the future this. This makes SIP a great tool for investing. A thread with some data and personal experience 🧵🧵

Hyderabad definitely had a fantastic 2025, with 85 plus new GCCs, including 36 Fortune 500 GCCs, in a single year, which is almost a record. We clearly led in terms of the number of new GCC entrants. However, when it comes to total office absorption, we are nowhere close to Bangalore. The record inflow of GCCs did not translate into proportional office space take up. Some of the announced GCCs have started leasing in 2026, and a few have started operations with smaller offices in the initial phase. Meanwhile, Bangalore saw mega GCC expansions from companies like Amazon, Google, Applied Materials, and Wells Fargo, with large lease transactions.Its total office leasing was more than double that of Hyderabad.
