The actual broken, out of date education system. Spend those millions on updating education instead. Teach kids about algorithms. Teach them how to leverage social media and AI tools to build a good future in the new world. I get the headlines sound good. But they lack depth. And they avoid the real problem, kids aren’t being prepared for the real world. This ban just adds to that.

I wish as much money and energy was being spent on updating the education system as is about to be spent on stopping kids using social media. Focus on enforcing the rules social media companies are meant to follow. If they don’t follow them, fine them. Still don’t follow them, block them. It’s crazy to me that the government will happily spend millions to stop kids getting access to YouTube, yet leave millions without the education they actually need to live.

I wish LinkedIn: - Promoted posts by value, not by who has the most friends - Stopped letting big accounts win just because they're big - Had search that actually found the post you saw last week - Let you organize and pull up saved posts in seconds - Wiped every AI comment off the platform for good - Penalized accounts farming engagement with bots - Killed engagement pods entirely - Had a real dashboard: leads, calls booked, revenue generated - Tracked pipeline, not impressions you can't spend - Told you exactly which post booked the call - Stopped tanking reach if you don’t comment immediately - Rewarded depth, not a recycled 3-line hook - Brought back comment sections that actually added value - Let you find real peers without sifting through spam requests - Didn't punish you for taking a week off to run your business - Felt like a network again, not a content treadmill
