@M1CHAEL_PEPPER Entirely different hardware *and* limited software (FireOS, or whatever it is now) One article said it’s inspired by Light Phone. Can’t wait for a minimalist Amazon phone with just the Amazon Store app and Alexa lol I take it back. This is a nothing-burger. It won’t launch.

Now, if only there was already a way for those who want to use Alexa AI to do so. Wait, installing it on the phone that they already have sounds too difficult. Everyone must buy a phone to get it. (Sarcasm is fun). I don't get the idea that entirely different hardware is required for something that could be an app or already is available as an app. I'm not about to add another device to carry around with me. This is why Amazon succeeds better by selling other companies products than their own. 😂

@xJMxRuby No, I used an old @TechDaily Facebook page I never posted on but set up years ago as a placeholder. It had me convert it to a business account (?), link my Instagram to it @techdaily.jpg and the asked for my YouTube name & subscriber count.

If anyone actually wants to know about this: I went through the sign-up process and was immediately waitlisted. Link: creators.facebook.com/creator-fast-t… Seems like a ploy to force Instagram & Facebook business accounts and then gather influencer data from TikTok & YouTube lol

@jspring86az They definitely pick & choose. Unsure what data they’re after, but they definitely want more FB accounts created from this. They also want your newly created FB page linked on your social profiles to “confirm authenticity.” That’s another layer. Poor pay. Dumb process. 0/10

@jspring86az Just not as straightforward as I expected. Must be done on smartphone, must have a business FB page, then connect IG, then finally asks about YouTube or TikTok - but only for subscriber count you type in. Also, different $$ amount for different follower tiers. Not $1K/mo

The MacBook Neo is an “iPhone XR” moment. It’ll be the best-selling MacBook by far, and best-selling laptop in the world within a year or two. Cheap. Colorful. Apple logo. Made for the masses. For young people. For old people. For the 99% who don’t watch tech videos.

The MacBook Neo is kind of like the iPhone mini. The same folks praising it all over social media are the ones who would never trade in their Pro for it. It’s clearly the best $600 laptop on the market - but few are going to switch away from the high-end. It’s about new buyers.

Negotiating 101: Whatever price you start with, the other party immediately offers 50% less. So you should price 2x - 10x higher than you think. Facebook Marketplace, eBay, freelance work, business deals, etc. You’ll make more money, and they feel like they got a crazy deal.

After offering 50% of your original price, the other party’s counter-offer is almost always only +5% to +10% more. “Meet in the middle” isn’t a thing in today’s world.

@DigestAndroid I haven’t had any real results either, and I’ve yapped about this a lot. Maybe I’m misremembering - or misunderstanding - but the original thumbnail A/B tester was CTR. Now with 3 options for title and thumbnail, it only gives watch time info. I think it misses the point.

The testing tool is completely bad in my opinion. "watch time" should not really be the metric. But the click rate. It's my job to string it together into watch time, but a lot of these thumbnails end up with similar stats for me, when one of them MIGHT be getting clicked WAY more. It's frustrating that I could be getting 5% more clicks on one of them, but because the watch time shows 1 second longer on the other one, it would win the battle. Unless I'm misunderstanding how it works
