HIGH-STAKES MISSION. DANGEROUS CRIMINALS OFF THE STREETS. On Friday, USBP Special Operations Group (SOG) and ICE executed a high-risk operation in the Houston Metro area—targeting individuals illegally present in the U.S. with serious criminal records. Agents apprehended five dangerous criminals tied to human smuggling, drug and firearms trafficking, and violent criminal organizations, including MS-13 and the Gulf Cartel. USBP and its partners remain relentless in the pursuit of violent criminals.

WANTED FOR MURDER! On 5/9, USBP Special Operations, CBP Office of Intelligence, and ICE teamed up in a bold, coordinated operation to arrest two Mexican nationals wanted for MURDER in Mexico. The brothers had opened fire on Mexican authorities—shooting a law enforcement officer—before fleeing to San Antonio, TX. Agents tracked them down, arrested them without incident, processed them, and extradited to Mexico.
