@JazzTheJourno Over 50x more likely according to UK police data showing hundreds of stiletto heel assaults in recent years versus only a handful of media-reported kirpan attacks across the UK, USA, Canada and Australia.

we're about to see the worst announcement of all time

UK should not ban Kirpans It should legalize guns

A migrant has no place whatsoever to deprive me, as an Englishman, of my ancestral right to bear arms. 🏴 It's bad enough when Englishmen get this wrong. If you don't like Englishmen being armed in England, Yusuf, you can leave.

i carry a kirpan as a baptised sikh & the guy who killed henry nowak should absolutely feel the full force of the law for what he did. his disgusting actions don’t surmount to banning the kirpan - yet another attack on religious minorities communities by reform and restore 👎🏻

Banning Kirpans for Sikhs, is like banning having hands for Muslims after the Manchester airport debacle, or banning right wingers from have penises after one raped a woman for being an immigrant. The tool is not the issue. People who are not able to control themselves is. That is not solved by removing the liberties of those who can.

Both the Tories and Reform are now saying the kirpan should be banned. This is totally wrong. The kirpan is a key article of the Sikh faith. An entire community cannot be tarred by the horrendous actions of one person.

Robert Jenrick has told @GBNEWS that Reform UK would ban the kirpan, the Sikh ceremonial knife, being carried in public after the murder of Henry Nowak. The differing rules on knives being allowed in public have been described as another example of two-tier justice.

@smg1664 Our officers were misled at the scene, including denial of weapon use. They quickly switched to life-saving aid within minutes but, as laid out in our statement, the medical evidence shows that the injuries were not survivable. A very sad case, our thoughts are with his family.
