We just received this message from a Whitefield resident. Another young life lost to Bengaluru potholes. Last Sunday around 1.30 AM, an Amazon employee, Ankush Mitra, died in a road accident on Channasandra Main Road near Zudio / SBR One. According to the resident who wrote to me, the bike hit a pothole, Ankush was thrown off, hit a concrete structure on the roadside and died on the spot. The rider survived. Ankush was an IIT Delhi and IIM Kozhikode alumnus, and had been working at Amazon in Bengaluru for the past seven years. He lived in SS Samruddhi Apartments with his mother. She lost her husband last year. Now she has lost her only son because a pothole on a city road was not fixed. Bengaluru roads are killing people. Families are being destroyed while authorities look away. @CMofKarnataka @siddaramaiah @DKShivakumar @BlrCityPolice @cpblr @EASTCITYCORP @MALimbavali How many more deaths before someone takes responsibility?
