“The proposed extension of Namma Metro to Tumakuru district is financially viable only when an additional 133 acres of land is opened up for commercial development” #Bengaluru

A lot is spoken about the garbage issue in Bangalore. While people simply toss the trash on road, our smart govt decided to have no dustbins in public areas! One fine day, we thought enough is enough! And executed a cleanliness drive ourselves in Koramangala streets. I put in around Rs. 15k, got many dustbins, installed them with lock-chain and also printed many awareness banners. Result - A visibly clean Koramangala neighborhood!

Huge billboards have collapsed near Hoskote toll, reportedly killing four. Who will take responsibility for this? @GBA_office @DKShivakumar or will the CM write another "letter" to Modi to take responsibility?

Bengaluru public transport scene is weird - BMTC buses gets stuck in traffic, no respite to people using it during rains - Autos/cabs won’t accept ride requests easily during rains and people would have to pay 2x or 3x of regular fare - metro trains too gets affected during rains and people will be stranded inside the coaches or on the platforms for long time So what’s the solution to resolve public transport scene in Bengaluru? @ChristinMP_

Good article. Hope clings on.
