When we previously spoke out about the 40m that was secretly given to a number of MPs, many colleagues said we were lying and making Parliament look bad…but eventually Hon Twaha Kagabo begun pacing up and down the stairs of Parliament with the 40m in a bag! When we spoke about the first “service award”, the recipients first denied and even said I have personal issues with them…but later they ate humble pie and acknowledged having received the money! When we spoke about the 100m given to MPs to appreciate them for passing the coffee bill, and to incentivize them to pass the UPDF amendment bill, some colleagues said I was telling lies about Parliament, and even promised to drag me to court personally…but later, Gen. Museveni came out to acknowledge that he gave them the money! So, even with this second “service award” of 400m to each of the four commissioners, they will deny and say all sorts of things!! #KeepingTheGovtInCheck

He overcame similar charges in India a few years back. He may as well come out unscathed but I doubt he will come out this smelling like a rose

We are praying for you so that the Almighty Lord gives you a sense of feeling the Parents of these boys have. And you find any person claiming to be serious not concerned with this state of affairs? Anyone not concerned about the absolute breakdown of the rule of law! That instead of courts doing their work, it should be Gen. Museveni making proclamations on who should be detained or released as he pleases- all for his politics! Our demand to the regime remains one- FREE ALL POLITICAL PRISONERS because to support NUP is not a crime. If these comrades had committed any crime, they would have been tried and sentenced long ago.
