Day 3 #WHS2024, one of the benefits of being at a meeting like this is the opportunity to meet friends/colleagues and to have business meetings.
It was good to catch up with @DrMikeRyan, ED @WHO Health Emergency Operations, Eduardo Gudo DG @instituto_ins, @beeodune of @NCDCgov, @drmichelyao1 @WHO ADG Strategic Emergency Operations.
As you can imagine, we talked about the #mpox outbreak response and other national health security challenges among other things.

I work in a government agency where there is water, light and internet 24/7. Got my first 2 foreign trips within 1 year of employment. Including a learning visit to UK.. Oh I also got a fully funded Mater’s degree abroad all within 5 years of joining the agency.
