I'll figure it out is not the same as something that is broken. Nothing has to be broken to figure out a better way. Broken means no longer working and I'll fix it. As today, I changed the kitchen faucet previous worked fine but no options underneath entirely rotten and heavy use of silicone to hold old cheap faucet. Again nothing broken, I'll figure out, found a piece of wood cut a half round hole at the corner, dremel cut to fit space and bolted new faucet to the figured out piece. Broken includes figuring it out. That's a bit of PM vs CM maintenance.
