@ChildrensHD @LPNational I only have ever seen him with relation to early Bitcoin, is he still involved in that space?

Jeffrey Tucker just declared ⤵︎
“The fallout from Covid tyranny is far from over.”
“We’re left with … illiteracy from a whole generation of kids.”
“A huge crime wave.”
“Massive substance abuse.”
“Ill health across the whole population.”
“Censorship.”
“Silencing great scientists and doctors who objected.”
“The Covid response… has something in common with the arrogance of the climate change stoppers.”
“[They] said that they would learn to control all the climate and the weather.”
“The Covid response was about using the power of government… to manage the microbial kingdom itself.”
“This outrageous ambition collapsed and caused immense damage [to] the world.”
“Over 194 nations all at once decided to pursue this.”
“The end result was that the product didn't work.”
“[It] caused a tremendous amount of injury and death.”
“The purchasing power of the dollar had declined [about] 30% from what it was just 5 and 6 years ago.”
“There's never been anything like that.”

@RCM7 In the US I have known many people that reduce their work to qualify for a program or grant. Why work for $100 when that stops you from accepting a $1,000 handout and then you get a larger tax return too.

Social support when you’re rock bottom and in need? Yes.
But doing nothing can never be more lucrative than working. Working should always pay off.
That’s the only way you create the right incentives to have a productive society instead of a bunch of parasites

25% of workers in Spain earn less than if they received benefits. This is the result of socialism.

@Jehnola @corbin_braun I work on Spurt which might be a similar app. Get in touch.

Upon election, I will be the first and only bipedal to howl at the moon on Thursdays while stomping my left foot!
@KellyMorrisonMN Why should I care that the old out of touch person writing laws is an OB-GYN? Ya'll wrote CAN-SPAM too and that's not working obviously.

I am interested in feedback and opinions on an article I wrote about the nature of humans being dismissive of arguments made by an #LLM.

@qiulongquan Post something you are actually building in public into the community for building in public

My rough split right now is 50% user research, 20% building (AI-assisted), and 30% marketing.
If the research is right, marketing becomes much easier. And with AI lowering the cost of building, coding is becoming less of the bottleneck.
I think this is why solo founders are becoming more viable.
The tricky part is still figuring out how to discover real user needs — and whether those needs are strong enough for people to actually pay.
If you’ve found a good way to approach this, I’d love to hear your thoughts.

@hellbetterthnsf Not a thing being built in public just more engagement trash

@loftwah Coding is just one of the many tools needed to actually get a usable product into the hands of users and continue to support it. If anything it has highlighted how increasingly complex these moving parts are. Many can vibe code a neat idea, yet still fail at getting it published.

@RCM7 This platform is terrible for actually connecting to other people working on cool stuff. It's all snake oil salesmen and it's sad to see the entire space of software development and entrepreneurs then into spam the same way the crypto space did.

I’m gonna quit posting on X communities.
It’s all fake engagement and people only share their new X follow count every day. I tried commenting often on other peoples posts and it drives some follows occasionally but no meaningful conversations. And it’s getting harder and harder to find genuinely interesting posts to engage with.
It’s just a waste of time.
I’ll focus on posting on my feed, and engaging with people I follow or have on lists from now on
