Appears to be a disconnect between what Navy needs to do for Power Projection vs what the Air Force, who owns CAOC process, etc. is prioritizing. Ex: striking tgts that would enable freedom of maneuver/nav, vice bombing stuff in the north that isn't fighting back. Almost like DS/DS. True operational priorities or USAF PR campaign for the next budget fight ?

@AndrewHClark No, Iran has not fully reopened the Strait of Hormuz as of March 15. Yes, there are signs of limited, selective passage for some ships. But normal, reliable, large-scale commercial transit does not appear to have resumed.

In 72 hours we went from: Trump never expected the possibility of Hormuz closing, To: Trump was briefed Hormuz could close but riskily did it anyway, To: Trump bombed Kharg Island but it likely won’t force Iran to open the Strait To: Iran opened the Strait

@tvwusmc @bennyjohnson He committed the awful sin of praying during Ramadan. SWA is going to get sued to kingdom come. For the SWA crew profiling him.

Tech HEU, 60% enrich is considered "breakout" threshold rather than final weaponized state. To go fm 60-90 (need 90 for wpn) is faster than getting to 60. Modern implosion-type wpn require ~25 kg of 90% per device. 450 kg of 60% urnm conv into approx 275–300 kg of 90%. Divide 275 kg by 25 kg per unit = exactly 11

Can anyone tell me how one can actually make 11 atomic bombs with 450 kg of only 60% enriched uranium? Or is it Steve Witkoff being Steve Witkoff again?

@GustHunters @sentdefender No, it’s not an army barracks you twit. It’s a navy base. And it has a very small housing capability. Remember this is a base with military families. A large civilian population. A hotel or civilian apartment building out on the economy is not a legitimate target.
