Dharma Mindset | Unfiltered Truths
Nice observation. Weak conclusion. Gratitude alone does not fix this. Humans adapt fast. What you have becomes normal, then boring, then not enough. That is not a mindset bug, that is how the brain works. So people swing between two traps: chasing more… or forcing gratitude. Both break over time. Happiness is not just appreciating what you have. It is managing desire without letting it run your life. Use what you have. Build what you want. But do not expect either to satisfy you permanently. That expectation is the real problem.

Japanese actor Hiroyuki Sanada spoke about the contradictions of human nature: “Some people dream of having a swimming pool at home, while those who have one hardly ever use it. Those who have lost a loved one feel a profound sense of loss, while others often complain about their living relatives. Those without a partner long for one, while those who have one often don't appreciate it. The hungry would give anything for a meal, while the satiated complain about the taste of their food. Those without a car dream of owning one, while those who have a car are always looking for a better one.” The key to happiness is gratitude: truly seeing and appreciating what we already have, and understanding that somewhere, someone would give anything for what we take for granted.

How a mind arrives at its inferences can vary considerably between humans. Yan LeCun as an example does not use words in his thought processes. He therefore concludes that LLM based thinking cannot possibly be all that is needed. In reality, introspecting our own minds about thinking is an extremely biased and flawed method.

Marc Andreessen seems to be discovering a cognitive blind spot in public and in real-time. He doesn't realize that he has a kind of aphantasia. Different minds operate differently; some need to subvocalize, others don't. The same with what he refers to as "introspection."

🚨 India consumed 229 billion GB of mobile data in FY25. The government is now exploring the possibility of a tax on mobile data. A levy of ₹1 per GB could generate around ₹22,900 crore in revenue, based on FY25 usage. A proposal may be examined by September 2026.

Yes ..study on Indian Tax Payer's Dime ( IITB's subsidized education)..then instead of coming back to India after PhD yall just flexing your $10M offer online. These kinds of posts just breeds resentments from both the natives of India (who dont have right kinds of academic enviroment for their success) as well as the native Americans (who are increasingly seeing you as someone stealing their job/future even though it maybe wrong factually)..

@DharmaMindset @IndianTechGuide You must be an idiot or someone who doesn’t know it. I have 5 day hybrid. 2 days I have to travel to office total time wasted in traffic 3-4 hours. Then the exhaustion from the traffic. Literally can’t get anything done in those 2 days. In 3 days WFH I literally do 5 days wrk

What would you do in the situation? You order a burrito and have it delivered by DoorDash. The driver shows up, leaves the food and walks away. Then, when she sees you didn’t leave a tip she goes back and grabs the food off of your front step. 😲 She tells you that because you didn’t tip you don’t deserve the food. Was she right or did she overreact? Is tipping necessary ?
AmyLouWho@perseverare1776

What would you do if you were this homeowner? Delivery driver shows up to your house with an order of pizza and breadsticks. You proceed to pay him and he gets angry with you over a $5 tip! He even swears at you! I think $5 is a pretty good tip for a small order. Would you call his manager or let it slide?

This man complains that his daughter stays in her room all day and doesn’t enjoy talking to him and his wife. Whenever she does come down for food or water, he’s always reminding her that when she turns 18 either she can move out or pay rent. I never understood why people do this as a scare tactic to teach kids responsible. Is it possible that his interactions like this is actually damaging his relationship with his daughter. Isn’t he giving her a vibe that he doesn’t want her around or is this a part of teaching her responsibility?

Henry Cavill is more of a man's man. He actually isn't THAT attractive to most women. Timothy Chalamet outshines him as sex symbol that appears to women. Henry has the classic strong, tall, muscular and reliable kind of vibe, but he lacks edginess, danger, mystery. He's basically a Reddit nice guy in a jagged body and a handsome face. Also, he's enthusiastic about stuff like building PCs and his Warhammer figure collection. I find it cute personally, but for most women it's negative aura.
