🧵Thought I’d share a bit of game footage from my most developed game, Ridge Run: kaviox.com/ridge-run/. This is the Jeep. It starts a bit slow, but it gets better fast

@vikascoolkarnir @thsottiaux Yeah exactly. Connect to GitHub and start a task. Once you do that, you should see Codex show up in ChatGPT. If not, there might be some kind of linking step, but I don’t remember having to do that

@vikascoolkarnir @thsottiaux You can already do this with codex web. You need to create a session on the website before you can access it through the ChatGPT app, but once you have the session, you can link it and see a Codex button in the ChatGPT app.

@thsottiaux Awesome! Please launch a mobile app to remote into codex. We must be able to continue whatever we are doing on Codex from phone and start new chats.

Building in silence or building in public? 👀 One gets feedback. What are you shipping right now? SaaS, AI tools, side projects anything real. Drop it below 👇

@signulll Yeah. Dario’s messaging was better than Sam’s “untrustworthy” approach, but still worse than someone saying “no, we’re just not going to destroy everything when we have the power.” I think China saying getting fired over AI is illegal will also have an impact

fascinating to watch openai’s recent messaging pivot from ubi / job loss to optimism & job creation. stark contrast with what dario has communicated consistently. this now reads less like overall philosophy & more like positioning. once anthropic became a real contender, the narrative clearly needed contrast esp as the offerings are converging.

@KaiXCreator Definitely not just building in silence. I posted about kaviox.com for roughly the last week. Learned some interesting things about the conversion funnel that I need to fix.

Everyone wants to build an AI startup no one wants to talk to users so tell me: have you validated anything or just building in silence?

@sporadica Wtf is the veil? If it’s just the illusion/existence of civilization, I think it was the thinnest for me in the Amazon (I guess?), but it wasn’t sinister

don’t understand people who say “the veil is thin” in legit major metropolitan cities yes the veil is thin in places like Appalachia, Maine, Lost Coast, etc. but how in the world can you walk through DOWNTOWN CHICAGO and be like “waow the veil is so thin this feels otherwordly”
Disgraced Propagandist@DisgracedProp

Thin places: Lost Coast (majorly) and the woods of Sonoma county, New Mexico particularly Gallup, Erie, PA that whole coast on the lake. Thick places: Destin/Sandestin Florida prob the thickest, West Michigan, Marin County, every Tulsa-style “small American city”

Real question for a Saturday: How are you actually spending your weekend? Resting? Building? Somewhere in between? Completely checked out? Let’s know in the comments.

@Sherifdeenolat2 There’s a lot of crazy stuff that becomes valuable if someone keeps working on it long enough. Most startups look crazy at the start. That said, if you are just building lots of things and never finishing or shipping, then yeah, you’re just wasting money.

A lot of people are spending $20 every month building stuff nobody even wants. No market fit check. No validation. No right network. Just being delusional and funding big tech every month lmao.

agar.io is beautifully simple. You can run around and eat mass and eat other players. If you eat them, you get their mass.

this is the hierarchy of respect you get for succeeding at different kinds of startups: S - impossible technical problem (anthropic, spacex) A - consumer/prosumer (notion, slack) B - vertical/niche product (legora, harvey) C - sales & back office (attio, lattice) F - any clone
