Sir Keir Starmer is reportedly set to resign on Monday. It could finally be the end of the charisma vacuum, and one of the most mediocre, morally repugnant British Prime Ministers in recent memory…and the bar was scraping the floor. From declaring that Israel had the right to cut off water from Gaza, a population where 50% of the population is under 18, running spy flights for Israel to commit a genocide, and assisting Israel’s sadistic depravity, Sir Keir Starmer will be remembered in history as a direct participant in genocide. He continued the failed proxy war against Russia through Ukraine. While Britain post-Brexit could have positioned itself as a key nation operating between East and West, Sir Keir Starmer committed to being a Washington vassal, as most of his unimaginative and mediocre predecessors have as well. He could have used Britain’s diplomatic service to help end the proxy war in Ukraine, rather than prolong it. Instead he committed to a failed proxy war against Russia through Ukraine, aimed to bring Russia to its knees, which has only resulted in hundreds of thousands, if not over a million Ukrainians dying pointlessly. At home, he delivered nothing substantial after promising the world, and once again proved that nothing will fundamentally change with milquetoast ‘social democracy’. Britain’s working classes remain impoverished, inequality remains stark, and his failures have fuelled the rise of the far right. He appointed a close friend of a child abuser, Peter Mandelson, simply because he thought it would deepen the UK’s vassalage to Washington under Trump. A premiership of utter failure, mediocrity, censorship, and barbarism.

Jeremy Corbyn on Sky News today, talking about Andy Burnham: “He doesn’t appear to be doing anything different internationally. I wrote to him to ask if he’d support something as straightforward as an inquiry into government policy on Gaza and the supply of weapons.”

A solidarity event in London organized by the ICJP and the Red Ribbons Campaign highlighted concerns over the abuses Palestinians held in Israeli prisons are facing. Speakers addressed worsening conditions in Israeli prisons since October 2023, including detention without charge, medical neglect, isolation, diseases and abuse. Participants, including lawyers, activists, and MP Jeremy Corbyn, called for greater international action, arguing that the situation has become a growing humanitarian and legal crisis that receives far less attention than the war in Gaza.

Today, thousands of us came together to provide an alternative voice to inequality, racism and war. Stop spending billions on weapons that kill people - and start investing in a society that feeds, houses and cares for people instead!

This is weird… so her buddy Matt Bernstein can attend Zohran & Brad Lander (a Zionist mind you) events unmasked, and still be treated as a respected voice on Palestine. Taylor can appear on Matt’s podcast, be perfectly comfortable with that relationship, and never seem particularly concerned about his lack of masking. But she went out of her way to publicly attack a disabled Palestinian for not masking on the set of a podcast. Influencers and friends get the benefit of the doubt. But when it’s a Palestinian, suddenly there’s a moral lecture. It feels like Palestinians are the only people who are never afforded generosity, context, or understanding that everyone else, especially liberal Zionists, receives automatically.

i see things are going extremely well for taylor lorenz over on ig, accusing a disabled palestinian activist of happily infecting & killing palestinians if it meant getting airtime, all because she didn't wear a mask on a podcast set.

Accusing Mayor Mamdani, who leads the city with the largest Jewish community in the United States, of hostility toward Jews simply because he criticized AIPAC is a deliberate smear. The ADL knows the difference between criticizing an Israeli lobbying organization and attacking Jewish people. Yet it continues to blur that line.. Mayor Mamdani referred to AIPAC — a lobby, nothing to do with American Jews. ADL is a Zionist Organization AIPAC is a Zionist Organization Zionism is NOT Judaism. @NYCMayor @NYCMayorsOffice @ZohranKMamdani
ADL New York / New Jersey@ADL_NYNJ

.@NYCMayor Mamdani must apologize. Referring to members of the Jewish community who advocate for causes they care about as “monsters” wielding “dark money” is shockingly offensive and unacceptable for a mayor who claims to represent all New Yorkers. This is not about political disagreement, it is about crossing a dangerous line by invoking dehumanizing and conspiratorial rhetoric with a long and troubling history in antisemitic tropes. We cannot allow fearmongering, conspiracy theories, or the demonization of Jews to become normalized in our public debate.

@KayeSteinsapir @NYCMayor I’m constantly amazed how Israel supporters casually talk about their devotion to “social justice” and “equal protection under the law” without realizing how this applies to the Israeli Apartheid regime. The lack of self-awareness is something else.

Accusing Mayor Mamdani, who leads the city with the largest Jewish community in the US, of hostility to Jews, just because he criticized AIPAC, is deliberate. It’s done for one reason: to burn the soil under our feet and fuel antisemitism. Mayor Mamdani referred to AIPAC — a lobby, nothing to do with American Jews. NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani calls AIPAC a "monster" that "moves dark money." No mention of Russia or the Rapid Support Forces in Sudan. I guess they aren't as "bad" as AIPAC is to Mamdani. Insane.

Zohran has closed 100,000 potholes within NYC, secured $1.2 billion for childcare, closed a $12 billion budget deficit, and will invest $122M in NYC public schools. This is why they want to take him down even after trying and failing to take him down during the primary. The establishment on both sides will be always against him and trying to convince everyone that a better future is not possible.

New York Post calls me a “terrorist sympathizer” as a way to smear Mamdani & his slate. Anyway, the @nypost is a despicable, lying, pro-genocide rag so I’ll take their smear as a compliment.

The most important sentence here is not “there will be a war.” It is that an Israeli think tank leader publicly chose Egypt, not Iran, not Hezbollah, not Hamas, as the long term strategic challenge. Strategists focus on capabilities, not intentions. Intentions can change overnight. Capabilities endure for decades. This also offers a glimpse into how Israel thinks about security in both the short and long term. States rarely reveal their true intentions directly. They reveal them through the threats they choose to discuss.
