@_glnarayanan @Kenu73 @MaximizeGlobal However, this is common with autodrivers. In all honesty, I've stopped using autos in Chennai - rash, rude/impolite, not ideal for chennai's bumpy roads and very poor value for money.
Uber also smartly has disabled the prepaid option for autos in MAA but not in BLR and MUM.

Why don't people still pre-pay their rides? I don't even remember if I have ever ridden Uber or any such app that wasn't prepaid. I never take cash rides. Never!

@_glnarayanan @Kenu73 Partially true, 100% of my cab rides in Chennai are prepaid via Uber wallet (thanks to @MaximizeGlobal). I have endured instances where drivers ask for some petty cash (50 rs max) if its their first ride or if they urgently need cash in hand, but otherwise not at all.

@Kenu73 Good luck getting such a ride anywhere in Chennai. Heck, 1/3rd of the drivers refuse even UPI and insist on cash. My luck rate with online payment (as they call it) rides is ~10%. I have to find that 1/10 driver willing to accept it :(

@iamabdulkadirl @iSatishAgarwal I see some shipping Atlas + TravelOne as mad combo but I still need to make sense of it.
For now, Amex Plat travel + Atlas/TravelOne seems like a better combo. Amex for online spends and all excluded categories, Atlas/TravelOne for all offline and travel/hotel spends.
