@lossfunk Wait, GPT 5.2, Kimi K2, Gemini 3 Pro are all "frontier" models? GPT 5.4, Gemini 3.1 Pro, Claude 4.6, Kimi 2.5 etc are all crying in the corner

🚨 Shocking: Frontier LLMs score 85-95% on standard coding benchmarks. We gave them equivalent problems in languages they couldn't have memorized. They collapsed to 0-11%. Presenting EsoLang-Bench. Accepted to the Logical Reasoning and ICBINB workshops at ICLR 2026 🧵

Manager: I have you scheduled for a meeting at 7 PM tomorrow. Gen Z: Is my attendance mandatory? Manager: Yes, we’re working with a client in another time zone. Gen Z: Okay, I’m happy to shift my hours to accommodate. Manager: Excuse me, no—you still start at 8 AM. Gen Z: If I’m working in the evening, then I’ll start later in the day. Manager: Okay, don’t watch the clock at this company. We work when we need to work. Gen Z: I’m contracted and paid for 40 hours a week, so that is what I work. Manager: That’s a career-limiting move. Tomorrow is a busy day; I’ll need you to start right promptly at 8:00 AM. Gen Z: Alright then, I will take the lieu time later this week. Manager: Again, that’s not how we operate at this company. You work hard when you need to, and you don’t watch the clock. Gen Z: Again, I work for the hours I’m paid for, and since overtime is not an option, I’ll go ahead and adjust my hours this week to accommodate the shift in the schedule. Manager: You’re not quite understanding the company culture we have here—we work all the time. Gen Z: And you’re not understanding that just because that is the way you do things does not mean that is how I’m required to do things as well. Manager: (Silence)

@dharmeshba It's not bureaucracy. It's asking engineers to be judicious about what they use AI for & use their brains as well & also be effective while using AI.

A friend told me his Bangalore startup has allocated Claude Code limits for every engineer. If an engineer hits the limit faster than others, he is expected to give an explanation. We are not losing to AI. We are losing to f**king bureaucracy.

Jensen Huang: "If that $500,000 engineer did not consume at least $250,000 worth of tokens, I am going to be deeply alarmed. This is no different than a chip designer who says 'I'm just going to use paper and pencil. I don't think I'm going to need any CAD tools.'"

Saw this full front page ad in today’s paper - new launch by Philips- perfect timing for an all electric cooking appliance. 20k for an appliance that will air fry, steam, stir fry, boil, bake, roast- what do you think?

@yourealazyfvck Super common I think. I was on a meet-up today where ElevenLabs folks were talking about how a used-car platform (buy & sell) uses their voice AI for sales. It's becoming super common.

I noticed something interesting: Claude Code auto-adds itself as a co-author on every git commit. Codex doesn’t. That’s why you see Claude everywhere on GitHub, but not Codex. I wonder why OpenAI is not doing that. Feels like an obvious branding strategy OpenAI is skipping.

@iMBA @shantanugoel I was specifically talking from the perspective of context usage. Skills use only when they're invoked vs plugins are more actively using up context since they're auto loaded

Unpopular opinion. Most skills are useless waste of context. Especially if you stuff everything in all the time.

@suritalreja One possible reason is the numerous Hindu new years. For example, Tamil New year is next month, on 14th. Not today.

Why we don't have a holiday for Hindu New Year ? It's one of the biggest festivals of India but no Holiday. Tomorrow I have to celebrate Cheti Chand but I need to take leave. Sad.

The era of credit cards in India is over. There are no real perks or benefits anymore. The Airtel Axis card is useless now, and overall, Axis and ICICI have been heavily devalued. SBI's service is among the worst, and Amex is hardly accepted anywhere in India. Don’t get carried away by the posts and tweets from the credit card community.

People really take visas as a joke, yeah probably if you hold the top 20 maybe you can. For all others, please do not take processing period lightly. Always and Always apply as early as you can, here's the quick official time-line for countries based on how early can you apply. Japan- 3 months UK- 3 months Ireland- 3 months, can process earlier based on embassy exceptions SCHENGEN- 6 months in advance CANADA/US- no such timeline, apply whenever you want Australia- nothing as such, but apply atleast 3 months in advance Hongkong - PAR stays valid for 6 months, so apply as early you can. In case par is rejected you can opt for evisa. Vietnam- 1 year before the planned entry China- 3 months For a lot of visas, time is the essence and even if you aren't able to travel, this won't harm you. So with Indian passport please ensure that you apply for visas with time in hand. Some countries like UK, Vietnam, China do have official/unofficial channels to get faster processing but most done.

@Kenu73 It's a work trip to Denmark. Learnt about it only yesterday & got appt slot for tomorrow. Tricky because I'm traveling to Singapore on Apr 11th & need my passport back before then. Work trip is within few hours of my return from Singapore so no time to apply on return.

@jassneetsingha They didn't do it for me either when I closed the Swiggy HDFC card (first time) & Tata Neu card (second time). They tried super hard to retain me on Tata Neu the first time though it was LTF

None of Philips electronics products are owned or made by Philips Only their medical devices still are They sold literally everything (even their lights division) Now they license the Philips logo to whoever wants it Yes you too can make anything and pay them some money to stick the Philips logo on top of it It all means nothing!
Tristan Watson ♻️@triwats_

@levelsio Got so much respect for Phillips as a brand for some reason Since their CRT monitors that slapped. What a beauty. Myb PSV too. But now I buy their toothbrushes. Kinda like Braun and Dieter Rams. They fumbled it somehow.
