Now this gives me a good amount of dopamine for whatever reason, my boy Fable, every time his team expands, it won't be long until we have sub-agents for sub-agents or perhaps we keep a flat hierarchy?

You’ve got to admire @bryan_johnson, ever since the autoimmune thingy he has been spat on, dragged through the “X” streets with “I told you so” hundreds of thousands of times. And yet, every time he answers with grace and compassion, regardless of the offence. Something to admire

After a day of testing Grok 4.5 I've noticed two things (1 bad and 1 good) > good: very very fast and intelligent, I feel no difference between Fable 5 for MOST not ALL tasks > bad: context size (@elonmusk has said that context will expand to 1M next month?) but currently it just doesn't cut it in a large enough codebase Overall it's a fantastic model, @SpaceXAI seems to be advancing faster than others due to focusing on hardware scale physics, doesn't matter who's on top today, what matters is who is building and getting more compute (and energy) available to them. SpaceXAI seems to be vertically integrating the whole process. PS: Still don't know if I should use Grok 4.5 through a Grok subscription or Cursor subscription

@matthewmillerai I find Fable to generate insane frontend designs especially when I ask it to make 3 new variations of something and then I'll choose one

GPT 5.6 needs to fix the design problem.
BridgeMind@bridgemindai

There is not a single OpenAI model in the top 14 for frontend design. Not one. Look at DesignArena: Anthropic holds SIX of the top 14 spots, including #1 and #2. GLM, Qwen, Kimi, even Gemini make the cut. GPT 5.5? Nowhere. It produces pure design slop. I cannot use it for anything UI related and I have tried. OpenAI promises to fix design with every single release. They never do. GPT 5.6 launches today. If it cannot design, it cannot take the crown. Benchmarks do not ship beautiful products. Taste does.

@Ddxdd68315 @MichaelAArouet Hmmm interesting, I wasn't aware of that. I know Luxembourg is inflated due to EU institutions in there. But I agree the Polish are some of the hardest working people I've had the pleasure of meeting

The real European divide isn’t East vs. West anymore. It’s countries that reward hard work and entrepreneurship versus countries that punish it with taxes and regulations. Poland bet on free market while Western Europe debates how to redistribute wealth it doesn’t create anymore
Michael A. Arouet@MichaelAArouet

Poland’s economic wonder will go into economics books. Free market, entrepreneurialism, rule of law and hard work allowed Poland to escape deep socialist misery within just one generation Isn’t it a pity that Western Europe chose left redistribution instead, and struggles badly?

@MichaelAArouet I agree on that, the Polish are currently the most entrepreneurial people in the EU in my opinion

@nuno_arede Some Western European countries receive more per capita. And it subsidies would work, Southern Italy would be economical paradise

@eliana_jordan In my case for tracking software it is a night and day difference. Fable just does what I ask, with Opus I feel the need to hold it's hand still for high level stuff

controversial opinion: after using fable 5 for a few days on my marketplace… i’m not seeing a huge difference compared to opus 4.6 for some tasks it’s amazing, resonates like wow but for larger features with real project context, i still hit similar limitations. maybe it’s my prompts. but i also expect better models to require less prompt engineering, not more. curious if anyone else feels the same
