The figure was revealed after analysis of the register of members’ financial interests, covering the period between January 2020 to February 2026, and formed the basis of a report published by Labour MP Liam Byrne who is looking at the right-wing media political complex. His research revealed that more than £170m was given to MPs, political parties, media organisations and thinktanks aligned with the UK’s populist right over the past five years. More than £133m, or 76% of the total – went not to political parties but to three media organisations: GB News, the Critic, and UnHerd. And it seems Reform MPs are benefitting quite handsomely from this right-wing media eco system.

@MiddleEastMnt @kimj100 Definitely nothing to do with Robbie Gibb who had a business partnership with dark money (almost certainly Israeli) for the purchase of the Jewish Chronicle, turning it from a paper for the Jewish community to a far right paper which supported Netanyahu,

A British court has heard evidence that the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) “misled” its audience during the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip. The evidence was presented as part of documents in a case being heard by a UK employment tribunal, in which five journalists of Arab origin accuse the BBC of discrimination and of unfairly dismissing four of them for refusing what they described as racist and discriminatory practices within BBC Arabic service. The five complainants are Ahmed Rouaba, of Algerian origin; Dima Odeh, of Syrian origin; Nahed Najar, of Palestinian origin; and Mohamed El-Ashiry and Amer Sultan, both of Egyptian origin. The claimants are represented in the case by John Barnes from Albertson Solicitors. This is the first case of its kind brought by this number of journalists from the Arabic of the BBC Service of World Service against the long-standing news corporation. Veteran journalist Amer Sultan, who is of Egyptian origin and one of the five claimants, accused BBC management of unfair dismissal. He said this was partly due to his reporting of what he described as “serious breaches” of the BBC editorial guidelines in the early weeks of the Israeli war on Gaza, which began on 7th October 2023. During last court session, it was revealed that Sultan—who worked for 17 years on the BBC’s Arabic website and television—had reported examples of breaches of the Guidelines to BBC World Service management. According to case documents, Liliane Landor, the former director of the World Service, held what were described as “listening sessions” to understand what went wrong and to discuss the reasons behind mistakes made by the BBC at the start of the war. These mistakes had sparked widespread criticism among BBC journalists and in political and media circles in Britain and the Middle East. middleeastmonitor.com/20260322-bbc-i…

If this isn’t a five bell alarm, I don’t know what is. No one can control what a system does with it’s except the company that created it. Everybody in tech is shouting about this, including theguardian.com/technology/202… #UKLabour have to wakeup to this.

BREAKING NEWS: PALANTIR HAS BEEN GIVEN ACCESS TO THE UK’S KEY DATA, it was revealed today. The unashamedly pro-war AI company from the United States has now been given full access to Britain’s highly sensitive financial services data, the Guardian revealed in this morning’s edition. Palantir took control of the UK’s health data in 2023, UK police data in 2024, and the UK military’s data last year. With the financial data, this arguably completes the set. . CONCERN FOR LONDON AS FINANCE CENTER The shadowy AI company has full access to highly sensitive data, about citizens and companies. The Guardian’s “exclusive” report today said that the Financial Conduct Authority awarded Palantir a contract to probe the watchdog’s internal intelligence files. An initial three-month contract is expected to lead to a long-term partnership. London has been faltering to maintain its “global financial center” status, having been overtaken by Hong Kong and New York in multiple indicators. It is unclear whether Palantir’s involvement will improve or further worsen the situation. . MISSION: MAKE AMERICA MORE LETHAL The ruling Labour Party’s boundless enthusiasm for handing the country’s data to Palantir has cheered the US and Israeli leadership. The company’s official mission is “making America more lethal”. Palantir CEO Alex Karp has long argued that the global dominance of the west has nothing to do with “values” but is achieved and maintained “rather by its superiority in applying organized violence" -- that’s a direct quote from his 2025 letter to shareholders. . USING AI TO KILL PEOPLE The company doesn’t just talk about choosing violence over values, but acts on it. Palantir is playing a key role (alongside Anthropic’s Claude) in providing targeting data for the US-Israel attack on Iran, which began on February 28 with a series of strikes, including hits on a primary school full of children in the south of the country. They have so far killed 3,000 Iranians. (All AI programs come with a legal disclaimer that automatically absolves them from liabilities for harm caused by their mistakes.) . ISRAEL AND EPSTEIN Palantir has long worked for Israel’s IDF in helping to clear Gaza. The UK is also an "intelligence provider" for Netanyahu's armed forces. The tech company rose to prominence by employing the lobbying group Global Counsel, founded by Peter Mandelson, now infamous as Underpants Man in the Epstein Files. For years, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and the current manifestation of his Labour Party were criticized as agents working for the US's pro-militarization and pro-Zionism lobbies. It is becoming increasingly difficult to dismiss the accusation. Smaller political parties in the UK have expressed concern, but are kept down by the powerful corporate media.

Dare to see past the narratives fed to you about MAGA. Which policies don’t you agree with? Securing the border Deporting people who came here/stayed illegally and those who were fraudulently granted temporary parole Prosecuting criminals for the crimes they committed and jailing them? Not releasing brutal murders and prolific pedophiles just because they turn 50 Opening production of fossil fuels to create energy abundance and independence Implementing voter and election integrity guardrails Returning to merit based opportunities and ending the falsely labeled DEI positions and policies Returning to core reading, writing, math, logic, finances, history & civics focus in schools Removing the failed Dept of Education Removing biological men/boys from women/girls sports and bathrooms/locker rooms, prisons Ending trans surgeries and hormones for kids Imposing reciprocal tariffs and punitive tariffs to reshore manufacturing, especially critical mfg Cutting taxes on tips/soc security/overtime Rooting out fraud, waste, and money laundering of taxpayer monies Removing all “emergency” covid spending still happening Ending the climate grift scam spending (could fall under the fraud and waste) Revoking student VISAs and green cards for those who foment hate, commit crimes, and support terrorists Something else?

Having grown up in the 1960s and 1970s, I would never have believed then that this country would end up in the totally wretched state that it is today. Politicians since Mrs Thatcher have a helluva lot to answer for. They have totally betrayed us across the board.🤨🤨🤨

@duffynuffy64125 @BladeoftheS Do you mean the manifesto that was rewritten when they realised how unpopular that policy was? Do you think the American billionaires funding Nigel don’t want to open up the UK as a market for their Medical Services companies?

Nigel Farage wants to get rid of the NHS and replace it with US Insurance which would be 4x more expensive and worse in every way. Except for the £600bn a year profit for him and his mates.

This is big money being funded into our election system by the people running the ongoing project which is right now removing democracy and the rule of law from the USA. Everybody in the UK needs to listen to the message of this.

Absolute corruption exposed. Ana Kasparian reveals Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff have massive financial conflicts of interest with Gulf countries. They are literally lying to the American people about Iran to drag the US into a war that benefits their own hedge funds.

2012. 'Comedian' Jimmy Carr was involved in a 'legal' tax avoidance scheme. There was public/media outcry. Carr apologised. He pulled out of the scheme. He paid the tax bill of £500k. Richard Tice avoided £600k in taxes. Where is the media coverage? #BBCBreakfast #GMB #r4today

🔥 It’s happened almost by stealth. GB News has effectively become Reform TV. A major UK political leader, Nigel Farage, hosts his own “news” show: something that would have been unthinkable in British broadcasting. A review by 20 experienced journalists found: • systemic bias • lack of challenge • factual inaccuracies • and overwhelming alignment with Reform talking points ☠️ Average compliance with @Ofcom rules? 1.5 out of 5. Meanwhile Ofcom has largely waved it through: even a Trump interview rated zero for impartiality was cleared because “balance” came hours later in a different programme. This is about something really fundamental: 👉 In the UK, newspapers can be partisan. 👉 Broadcasters are supposed to be impartial by law. That line is now being blurred or ignored. Even @afneil says the channel became something entirely different from what was promised: “A kind of Fox News… they worshipped the ground Farage walked on.” When a political movement effectively gains its own TV platform, with minimal regulation, it doesn’t just shape debate. It reshapes democracy. The question isn’t whether you agree with the politics. It’s whether the rules that underpin trust in broadcast news are still being enforced at all.

There is a strong argument to be made that if Nigel Farage was PM, we would be bombing Iran right now. The video below shows clearly that Nigel Farage supported joining the US and Israelis to attack Iran at the start of the conflict. While Reform are now trying to distance themselves from the idea, at their Welsh manifesto launch just a 13 days ago, Farage was clear on where he stood. He said was “generally” somebody who was “very, very deeply nervous about getting involved with foreign wars” but that “there is something fundamentally different about Iran”. He then bizarrely links Iran to unfounded accusations of election rigging in the Gorton and Denton byelection where Reform were defeated by the Greens. He said if there was “one big justifiable reason why we should have supported the Americans on day one” that “if this war stops Iran getting a nuclear bomb it will have been worth it.” Just five days after this Mr Farage rowed back saying Britain should “not get ourselves involved in another foreign war”. It is clear from this video that if Nigel Farage was Prime Minister, there is a good chance we would be bombing Iran right now.
