School shootings are about weak petulant POS cowards seeking infamy. Our stupid media rewards them by continually plastering their photos/names over and over. Then gush with superlatives of “most horrific”, “detailed/meticulously planning”, etc. If people never said the POS cowards name again/posted an image, if they were to be referred to as just a weak-minded petulant POS coward number 01021, the incentive would disappear. 2A protects our rights from a tyrannical government that wants to strip our freedom of speech, assembly, etc. Kids used to regularly have their rifle/shot gun in their trucks at school. So it isn’t the guns that cause school shootings. 1) pretty sure NASCAR banned the confederate flag years ago; 2) like the rainbow flag, the southern cross/confederate/rebel/Dixie flag held different meanings for different groups of people. To them it IS about the hate. AND there were many people to whom it was just Dixie - with no ill intent. Like the Dukes of Hazard TV show and the General Lee car. Show and car were not promoting racial hatred but featured the rebel flag. In fact, “NASCAR evolved from bootleggers in the South, particularly during the Prohibition era when drivers modified their cars to transport illegal moonshine and evade law enforcement. This underground racing culture eventually transitioned into organized stock car racing, leading to the formation of NASCAR in 1947”. So the “Southern Flag” being flown at NASCAR events was a nod to the origination of the sport and NOT a celebration of or call for racism.
