@sinkcontrol I lip-read, and I have residual hearing, so when I'm facing someone in a quiet environment wearing my hearing aids, I can generally carry on a pretty normal conversation. But I need all those things to line up.

Actual conversation I had on the bike trial today: Person: “Why does your vest that say ‘Deaf Cyclist’?” Me: “To alert other riders that I cannot hear or react to them unless I can see them.” Person: “But you’re not deaf. You’re talking to me right now!”

Idk if you've seen the show parks and recreation but there's a character who says "litrally" and i thought part of the joke was how he was pronouncing it but maybe it wasn't lol

Just cause one person's brain is not prone to (or capable of) DID, how would that person know others are the same way? What is the argument?

Every doctor i've been to they'll ask me to submit a form allowing them to communicate and exchange records with other doctors i've seen- i have to list their information. Why can't you just tell a new doctor thatyouhaveno mentalhealthdiagnosis?

when you go to take the trash out, replace the bag IMMEDIATELY before going outside, not after.
