Gun dealers must be held responsible for ensuring that buyers be insured for liability, just like any other heavy machinery. Currently the cost of damages falls to health & life insurance companies, as well as government and all society. @Everytown

Why don't health insurance companies apply legal pressure to makers & sellers of guns & ammo, to require that buyers be insured for liability just like for cars & trucks? Same question for life insurance, and maybe even the federal government? @POTUS @VP @SenSchumer 🗽🇺🇸

Seriously, how is this not just a simple insurance issue? We're talking about heavy machinery here, including literally explosives. Somebody please explain slowly for me..?

Ultimately, the best way to stop the guns is to put their makers out of business. Lift the federal liability immunity for gun manufacturers and let them be sued by the families who have lost loved ones from deadly products knowingly marketed by these merchants of death.
