It’s out. Go play with it. There’s nothing else like this - not even close. A completely new way to build, skipping traditional design tools entirely. Once we add full AI agent support, it’s game over. The future of design tools is code-based.

Complete Design Systems solution for shadcn/ui is out! Modeled after the DTCG standard, translated into shadcn/ui + Tailwind CSS • Base Tokens • Component Tokens • Custom token names • Any Tailwind-supported properties • Import from Figma • Distributed with shadcn/ui CLI

I'm so unhireable in any other place. they'll ask me to reverse a binary tree and I'll ask them whether I can use durable objects.

Is it just me, or is @vercel Geist heavily inspired by IBM Plex? Some letterforms are almost an exact match. And there’s no mention of it anywhere - not even in the "Inspiration" section @evilrabbit_

Big update to our Design Systems editor! Introducing Typed Design Tokens and full font support (Google Fonts for now) Create any token you want, like "font-display" → assign a font from the catalog → distribute it anywhere with the shadcn CLI via registry:font

I designed glimm as an alternative to confetti, for marking the moments in an app/site that deserve a little celebration. Using it on every page transition is overkill and not recommended. Just added a Best Practices section in the docs covering when to use it and when to skip. #best-practices" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">glimm.dev/#best-practices

Excited to share my latest project glimm.dev glimm is a React and Next.js library for delightful shader-driven page transitions. It animates a WebGL band across the screen during route changes or any state change if selected. The new view appears underneath as the band moves. It is GPU-accelerated, under 10 KB, and remains idle until triggered.

@PixelJanitor I wish, this will break a lot of things. AI is very good on fixing flexbox layouts, better just ask if you see it doesn't behave like expected than adding this to everything.

Pretty much all flexbox woes have gone away by adding this to the global css of every new project. *, ::after, ::before, { min-width: 0; min-height: 0; } If you add this to an existing project, check for ui regressions (most likely will be some!).
