Noelia Castillo Ramos was the innocent victim on a gang of attackers who brutalized her beyond all humanity. In despondency, she injured herself further and was partially confined to a wheelchair. In inconsolable desperation she turned to the government of Spain which yesterday cut off her contact with the world and today euthanized her following her request. Pray for her soul and all the officials that could have prevented the crime against her and all the crimes that followed.

Roman, Jewish, and Christian accounts numbering into the dozens by authoritative sources record the major portions of Holy Week, that Christ died on the Cross and rose again. There were a large number of trees in the region that were used for instance to build and rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem which was a few hundred yards at most from the Crucificion.

Mary, sister of Martha and the newly resurrected Lazarus, in love and penance, freely pours out the expensive ointment to anoint the feet of Our Lord. Judas Iscariot, the first social justice warrior, complains about this extravagance given to God instead of giving it to the poor. The tragedy of Judas is that he was capable of giving this same love that Mary gave, but chose not to. Today is Holy Monday. The day Jesus kicked the money lenders out of the Temple. Modern Christianity wants to paint Jesus as a harmless pacifist who just wanted everyone to get along. They couldn’t be more wrong. He doesn't write a strongly worded letter. He doesn't ask them politely to leave. He physically braids a whip of cords, flips the heavy wooden tables, scatters the money and expells them from His Father's house. The Lord is not pleased with mere appearances, trees without fruit, rituals without prayer, temples without reverence. He calls for authentic worship, conversion of heart, and fruitful holiness. Today He asks each of us: 1) "Am I a fig tree full of leaves but no fruit?" 2) "Is My heart a house of prayer, or a den of distractions?" Let Him cleanse the temple within you. Let Him overturn the tables. Let Him cast out every idol. Because where He cleanses, He heals. Where He purifies, He restores. Follow Him with all your heart and BEAR FRUIT! “I am the vine, you are the branches. He that abideth in Me, and I in him, the same beareth much fruit: for without Me you can do nothing.” - (John 15,5)

BREAKING 🇻🇦 🇮🇱 Cardinal Pizzaballa and Custos of the Holy Land have issued a joint statement confirming access to the Holy Sepulchre for the remainder of Holy Week: 'The Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem and the Custody of the Holy Land hereby confirm that the matters concerning the Holy Week and Easter celebrations at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre have been addressed and resolved in coordination with the relevant authorities. In agreement with the Israel Police, access for representatives of the Churches has been secured in order to conduct the liturgies and ceremonies and to preserve the ancient Easter traditions at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Naturally, and in light of the current state of war, the existing restrictions on public gatherings remain in force for the time being. Accordingly, the Churches will ensure that the liturgies and prayers are broadcast live to the faithful in the Holy Land and throughout the world. We express our sincere gratitude to His Excellency Mr. Isaac Herzog, President of the State of Israel, for his prompt attention and valued intervention. We also extend our appreciation to the Heads of State and officials who acted swiftly to convey their firm positions, many of whom personally reached out to express their closeness and support. We wish to emphasize that religious faith constitutes a supreme human value, shared by all religions, Jews, Christians, Muslims, Druze, and others.
