The most effective way to build muscle is to subject it to increasingly heavy loads over time. I know. I'm sorry it isn't more complicated. I wish it required a periodised twelve-week block, intricate tempo manipulation, a specific intraworkout formula, and a course with a payment plan. It doesn't. It requires that the weight on the bar goes up across months and years. This is considered a controversial position in some corners of the fitness internet. That is one of the stranger things about being alive right now.
