📣 Our friends @httpie accidentally made themselves private so lost all their stars recently. They fixed it straight away but now we need your help. Check out the project and give them a star for Valentines if you still love them ❤️ github.com/httpie/httpie

@github @httpie You could, idk, restore their stars from backup like you have for your own projects?? Unless your restore process doesn't work, or you don't have backups, or you don't care. 🤷‍♀️

@github @httpie since point-in-time restore has been ruled out, maybe as a favor to a top repo, send some type of targeted notification to the ~55k users letting them know they'll need to star again.

@github @httpie Intriguing how you are not able to restore a state or to rather travel in time on the event timeline for just one repository. Not complaining, just missing a lot of context most probably!

@github @httpie If you can restore all your stars yourself when lost then why not for the family that made you this big? Please create a automated provision for restoring in one click. This is recommended and mandatory. @github Job not well done! #support for @httpie

@github @httpie Sad to see that a platform that is housing a large amount of open source projects and clearly profits from their large communities using its services is not able to do more than that. The "value" of a community this large should be obvious to all involved parties.
