@github For someone diving into the episode, how does it tackle the initial intimidation of making that first Pull Request? Does it offer any specific mental frameworks or workflows for beginners who are terrified of breaking something or receiving harsh feedback?

@github You level up by contributing. Fix a typo, add an example, open that first PR. Perfect message for beginners. Just ship it 👊

@github "Leveling up" is a very polite way of saying you're about to spend three hours crying over a rebase conflict on a repo you don't even own

"You don't have to level up to contribute to open source. You level up by contributing to open source." Can someone please get an actual dev to do these github spots? What a retarded totally false assertion. In order to "contribute" anything of use and value, you have to have already levelled up. Posting gargage doesnt level anyone up, except maybe those who code debugging agents, which of course comes at the expense of levelling up and coding agents that actually did net positive things.

@github this is backwards from how most people think about it. same with AI agents - you don't study agent frameworks for 6 months then build. you build a shitty bot that breaks, then you learn why

@github "You can contribute by pointing out what's confusing to you" Good lord, this is giving a platform to time wasting retards who just want to complain instead of finding answers to their questions using AI.
