Often I feel like I'm alone in the world but not last night. Mercedes rides, high-toned London Hotel, and down-home KFC with JK Rowling, who listened so well I felt like I was the only person in the room.
Great guests. Wonderful assistants too.
A night to be remembered.

I’ve just finished The Hallmarked Man by @jk_rowling and I’m in a whirlwind of frustration and emotion and WHAT DO YOU MEAN I HAVE NOW TO WAIT *YEARS* for the next one?!? 😭😭
The book is exquisitely complicated and perfect as usual. I CANNOT WAIT ANOTHER TWO YEARS THOUGH 😭😭😭

1/2 Taking a few days off work to devour #TheHallmarkedMan was the best decision I could have made. 😍 These books have become more than just a favourite series, they’re a source for childish excitement in my adult life, a shared passion through which I’ve found new friends.
