@UnskullSam @RBRHub Well your source is Italian and they have an agenda (Ferrari). If you reduce some laps next year in certain races you don't need to change the fuel tank and chassis. That was the criticism of RBR and some other teams and now is met by FIA

Neither source is any more reputable than the other🤷‍♂️ So declaring one incorrect is subjective based on a preferred narrative. Your preferred narrative provides no explanation for Vertappen’s change in position throughout the weekend. On the other hand the narrative created by the source I linked explains Verstappen’s evolving position and statements. You may choose to believe what you with but don’t get to declare one more credible than the other.

As per The Race, sources close to Max Verstappen are clear that he is dead serious about quitting F1 if the proposed 2027 power unit rule changes are not approved. For change to get the green light for 2027, it will require backing from four of the six manufacturers - to secure a supermajority in the Power Unit Advisory Committee. Right now, only Mercedes and Red Bull are in favour. Audi, Ferrari and Cadillac are firmly against for different reasons, while Honda sits somewhere between these two camps.
