Indians in America built FAANG. They run hospitals. They pay taxes, follow rules, and keep their heads down. And they still get told "go back to your country." Walked into an American drugstore last month.
The toothpaste was behind locked glass.
The shampoo. The deodorant. The laundry pods. The body wash.
I pressed a button. Waited four minutes for an employee with a key.
In Japan, every single one of these items is on an open shelf. Nobody steals them.
If toothpaste needs to be locked up in America, something broke at a very basic level.
What broke? When? And who decided to fix it by locking customers out, instead of arresting the thieves?
