@jaequeln @MarcoTrotz @MrBeast We already do? And you're fine enough to be this sociopathic on the internet despite that? Like I sure hope you don't go to medical professionals since they'd risk everything to save someone as "idiotic" as you when you're sick or injured.
English

@MarcoTrotz @MrBeast You want to live with the people that will risk everything for no reason to save an idiot that can’t even save himself when he has the chance to do so?
English

@Soil1s4Future @Gunlord500 @thefreespi65329 @curlychrizz @MarcoTrotz @MrBeast Dehumanization is when you believe that there's risk when you choose blue and project your own selfishness onto others to justify choosing red. Humans didn't get this far because everyone was selfish and cared only for themselves. You're privileged to think otherwise.
English

I think you're missing the point of how blue pressers are illogical, didn't actually think it through and understand that the blue button is a trap. Everyone should press red. Nobody is at risk at all unless someone presses blue.
The blue pressers also are openly declaring a moral stance towards reds. Whereas reds just think blues are irrational.
It's a clever way to expose morality and rationality in opposition to each other, and how morality led irrationality causes dehumanisation.
English

@ProofOfKeags @MarcoTrotz @MrBeast 1. Reds will always put themselves before you.
2. Reds won't do anything for the greater good if it costs them.
3. Reds are willing to let others die as long as they get no consequences.
4. Reds think altruism is virtue signaling and use that as an excuse to be sociopaths.
English

I’d prefer living in the only red world. You can actually trust reds.
There are three reasons to push blue:
1. You don’t reason through problems. Ok but not ideal.
2. You have a misplaced sense of altruism where you think it’s ok to create moral dilemmas for others for no good reason. I dislike these people strongly.
3. You don’t value your own life. These people cannot be trusted whatsoever.

@gnomegnosis09 @DaveShapi @rjheathfield Then don't be a part of those people that can't be trusted by putting only yourself first. But whatever, have fun living in a world where no one trusts each other. If you think society's already terrible, it'll just be worse when the trustworthy and trusting ones are gone.
English

There's only one policy where "everyone lives" though.
Aleksi Liimatainen@aleksil79
if red is the sane default, blue pushers recklessly endanger themselves over nothing if blue is the sane default, red pushers defect for personal gain hate to break it to you but there's no sane default here. it's all in your head
English

@rnovak1988 @DaveShapi @rjheathfield Not liking strangers doesn't mean you don't have people you care for and won't be able to risk your lives to protect them. Only the privileged are able to think of only themselves and then project their selfishness onto the less fortunate to try and justify themselves.
English

The twitter poll that received the most participation had roughly 98,000 responses.
that accounts for 0.00125% of the world's population.
I agree with your interpretation, but choosing blue means that you genuinely have little to no experience with foreign cultures.
Do you know how many cultures and societies across the world despise outsiders/foreigners?
Your choice of blue requires 4 BILLION other people to ALSO voluntarily risk their lives to save yours.
English

@AustinCooper90 @DaveShapi @rjheathfield They only get killed because red pressers like you think this way. Plenty of people risk their lives for others every day, so blue is their default. Red pressers will have to live in a world without those people if they win and we get Idiocracy.
English

@DaveShapi @rjheathfield Being a realist is what matters. If voting blue because you “trust humanity” (whatever that means to you) still gets you killed then was it the right strategy?
English

@BlairSchille @DaveShapi Organ transplants require a healthy human and genetic/immuno compatibility. Being willing to donate isn't enough to do so and is an entirely different scenario. But sure, ignore the tens of thousands that do indeed donate just to make your point.
English

@DaveShapi That's why we don't have a waiting list for kidneys that's 90,000 people, right? Because in real life modt people are willing to risk their lives to save others, right?
Y'all have no self awareness.
English

@ZayJspx @Daniel86Cycles @NoPoliSolutions Again, that's how society used to be. We all cared for each other and risked our lives to save even those who were cowards. We wouldn't have made it this far if no one put their species before themselves. You aren't single celled microbes to think you're rightfully "independent".
English

The goal is to eliminate the idea that the red button has any active role.
𝔏𝔲𝔪𝔦𝔫𝔢𝔯𝔳𝔞@LumLotus
New point that doesn't make sense from Blue. I still don't understand how it's "Red's fault" for Blue's irrational actions.
English

@ZayJspx @Daniel86Cycles @NoPoliSolutions because it's true. you know that people will inevitably choose blue and you still risk them dying by not being on their side because "you care about your own survival that that other crazy side". you can't just be blatantly selfish and get offended when you're called out for it.
English

@ZayJspx @Daniel86Cycles @NoPoliSolutions and Reds don't just say that blue is a suicide button and that they deserve to die in return? If it's between virtue signaling and being openly sociopathic, why would you ever want to choose the latter unless you know you don't get any real consequences for it?
English

@Daniel86Cycles @NoPoliSolutions this is evident in the way blues discuss the hypothetical.
"i wouldnt want to live in a world with reds"
"pressing red is selfish"
"reds want to hide the fact that"
its an opportunity to preach about how good you are and how bad they other side is.
English

@Daniel86Cycles @NoPoliSolutions Pressing blue no different from the doctors or firefighters that risk their lives to protect you and others. Calling their noble efforts "suicide" is reductive and makes you sound ungrateful. Just be honest and say that you'd rather put yourself first at the expense of others.
English

@Daniel86Cycles @NoPoliSolutions Red is morally responsible for the situation. They are only thinking of themselves. You call the blue button a suicide button when it's inevitable that people will press it. You'd rather let them die and feel proud of living than to form solidarity with others to save them.
English

@doodlezhap @Daniel86Cycles So if you see someone drowning, you'd do nothing to help? Red pressers are the type to take advantage of other's generosity and then call themselves independent. You better stop risking your life by going to the doctor's or driving then if you can't trust others with your life.
English

@Daniel86Cycles The blue button is immoral because it is endangering oneself voluntarily and then trying to goad others into risking themselves to save you
English

@doodlezhap @Psychronia @Daniel86Cycles Red pressers are the type of people to bully someone and blame them if they commit suicide. You can't influence what others will choose and it's inevitable that there will be Blue pressers. Choosing Red is the only way that Blue dies, but you guys can't digest that thought.
English

@Psychronia @Daniel86Cycles Every blue vote is voluntarily causing the chance of death
English

@Jimomthytimbers @TheCartoonLoon Funny how "low trust" societies tend to be the most family oriented ones. Not trusting your neighbors doesn't mean you don't care about your family members. Everyone picking red is just contributing to that "low trust" framing, making a self fulfilling prophecy if it does happen.
English

There are more blue than red. So I have no idea if this was intentional but this depicts blue winning

@llSiggull @inkfycreates It would've made sense if he truly got over things quickly, but he was self pitying and crying about his dog the entire game for him to lack any form of emotion after that of realization. And the game even lampshades it by saying he's "like his parents who always look forward."
English

@llSiggull @inkfycreates The only gripe I had with Arven's story is how everything resolved so quickly. He finds out his parents that he hated actually loved him but died in an accident and he just...gets over it and wants to be good at cooking. That was character assassination to me.
English

What's crazy is how S/V has pretty competent storytelling so of course the writers were smart enough to realize that Arven's conflict would not work if he could just heal Mabostiff at a Pokemon Center.

//dying of laughter rn because the person who said mabostiff not being healed by a pokemon center is a plot hole privated their account
