Arc Raiders is becoming more than just a shooter. The devs are shifting focus toward exploration, scavenging, and discovering the world around you, giving players the freedom to engage on their own terms rather than just running into gunfights.

No skills, upgrades, nothing 🤷‍♂️ in Tarkov you have levels and skills and are always in need of money. here there is literally no reason to play, PvP just for the kills? gets boring fast

@RoboSidor @ARCRaidersMedia its boring because the game is riddled with cowards who whine and scream at the sound of a round wizzing near them. The story/lore is bland. No factions-just going topside and fighting the ppl you live amongst is odd. Its just gay and boring now.

@TheRooster Length doesn't equal quality. I feel most of the writing for games is excessively long with convoluted plots, lots of NPCs which are not interesting at all and extremely mediocre dialogue. A bit like most of the modern TV series (I prefer great classic films over TV series).

Games > Books Some games have scripts so massive, they make books look like a light read. For comparison, the entire LOTR trilogy has ~481,000 words: 2.2M — KC: Deliverance II 2.0M — Baldur's Gate 3 1.2M — Disco Elysium 1.1M — Animal Crossing 1.0M — Baldur's Gate 2 1.0M — Cyberpunk 2077 950K — Planescape: Torment 740K — Dragon Age: Origins 650K — Fallout: New Vegas 450K — The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Narrative designers write modern epics and voice actors record absolute libraries.

didn't age too well. 250k still a month ago half of that now suddenly ARC got stale.

as you can see, I'm dogshit at the game. time to uninstall marathon and every other shooting game and just go play farmville for the rest of my life

Bad move Bungie. This is the same FOMO BS you created with Destiny 2 and I hate it. I’ve got 3 kids and love your game but I’m not about to dedicate every weekend evening to just Marathon, there are plenty of indies out there that respect my time more.

Good morning, everyone! Quick update on Bonereader and what’s next: The game is almost ready and now essentially in beta. We originally planned to release the demo in February, but decided to expand localization so more players can try it — so the demo is now coming in April.
