@EternaLEnVy1991 @Respekchemistry Drawdown should be small at this point? We're in the fourth month of 2026 already. By the way, your performance seems to be inversely correlated with madaz's somehow?

@TradetheMatrix1 You, as a smallcaps daytrader, should know better than anyone that "fake" means nothing in this business. You take advantage of "fake" moves all the time every single trading day to make money off of those.

@options_insight Every rally is fuelled by squeezing bears liquidity (bulls accumulate at the bottom). More news at 11

This rally is being driven by forced buying. Hedgies were short. CTAs are being forced back in. It’s not people buying because they want to. It’s buying because they’re forced to. If the news flow deteriorates, the same people will have to sell it again. So the question is what happens when the flow stops. You’re not only trading market direction but instead this is more trading positioning. This is not where you want to be short gamma. I see it as: Deal gets done: market keeps ripping. Deal fails: market sells off. Supportive flows are fading. Event risk is rising. Do I want to be running short gamma into the weekend with Monday's straddle priced at less than 1%. Probably not. This is exposure to uncertainty, not a view.

@TedHZhang Every long who has been chasing the past few days has been banking hard today. Even those of chased at the open today have already sold at a profit.

It is so important here to not chase extended stocks and give into FOMO.

@jd_tradez You'll see plenty of red days and new local lows once all the bears' liquidity has been squeezed.

@CriticalTrading I was the first to swipe both as news came out. I add to winners and cut losers fast. It’s all about big wins and small loses

$BIRD +5.12 Rs Very solid long setup, felt like I could've sized this bigger because of how big the volume was, setup reminded me of ORBS with the tape and how much volume we did. Missed the long in pre market because I didn't understand the agenda quick enough yet but realized it was a good long after the open. Got long the breakout, first attempt stopped me out but got back in when we stayed strong. Took off most into $12.30 daily resistance and held a small core. Added full size on the next flag break, trimmed some but stopped. Immediately added back on the fast dip because tape remained strong and trappy. Tried adding on the breakout but got bad slippage and didn't add to full size, trimmed the rest as we moved up and got flat when we went parabolic. When we started to curl later in the day and broke the flag, I got long again looking for a squeeze through highs, trimmed some but got stopped out breakeven on the fast flush. Could've done a better job understanding the agenda quicker which would've allowed me to size bigger and get in earlier in pre market. Also didn't plan sells well on the next leg so started to trim randomly into strength, could've held a bigger core until the parabolic / target of 18-20. $MRVL -2.16 Rs Was watching MRVL, NBIS, SNDK, and INTC for potential backsides. SNDK was the one to play but I got overwhelmed at the open and didn't do a good job prepping. Because of this I got on the worse backside setup. Tried shorting into resistance but stopped out, got back in again on the turn thinking we'd roll over but stopped out at highs again, left it there because we were just strong. Whenever multiple tickers are setting up similarly, I need to focus on my top 2 ideas rather than trying to play all of them, at a certain point I start getting overwhelmed and trade all of the setups poorly and don't do a good job game planning. $TSLA +0.30 Rs Started to get extended today, once we started to speed up near 400 I shorted the turn. Wasn't looking for much on this, covered 1/4th into support, pyramided some on the pop into resistance, and then got out the rest at breakeven. I made a mistake and sized this too big, I risked B+ size when this was more of a C+ / B quality setup, I saw the intraday move and thought it was better than it actually was. Shorting day 1 large caps with news that just broke trend is usually low EV and you shouldn't look for much unless it's a big outsized parabolic.

@BacksideTrader That one was a disapointment on a day like today... popped after the vwap bounce and then just faded. Barely got anything out of it, wasn't expecting it to fade like that.

@TradetheMatrix1 You keep flip-flopping on your "thesis"? One day, it's a risk-off, cold period for smallcaps, and an imminent large sell-off in the largecaps sector. The next day, it's a window of opportunity, with upcoming hot sectors everywhere, and a risk-on market. So which is it?

#Smallcaps there is your chance over next 1 to 2 weeks to make up for cold March. I still think we head back to risk-off rather sooner after that. Short duration opp window.

@EternaLEnVy1991 Can you post your winning trades for once? Like your mega short on ROLR at the open that you only covered after-hours? Or your MIMI, AHMA, PMNT winning trades? People need inspiration, not that depressing shit.
